00:00so over here you can see that i have some objects right here and let's say what i want to do is i
00:11want to group these objects so let me just go ahead and select them all right here and then
00:16group them out so let's just go ahead and group this once you do that what happens is that it
00:22turns into the same color as you can see right here but i want it to be grouped but not change
00:27into different colors right here in that case you can utilize something called multi-color so to do
00:34that simply click on the color right here and choose multi-color right here and you'll get back
00:39the colors so now this does act as a single object as you can see right here but they are multi-colored
00:45so you want any model multi-colored right here then you can simply do this so let me just go ahead and
00:52duplicate this out right here just like this duplicate this out and then i'm going to go ahead
00:57and pull this off right here and this is what you have as you can see let me just go ahead and
01:02rotate this out as well just like this so let's just go ahead over here and rotate this out and
01:09you can see that i got something like a stack right here just like this so this is what you have as you
01:15can see and these are the multi-colored blocks that you have and you can go ahead and select them all
01:21and then you can go ahead and group them out as one single object as well and then this is what you
01:28have as you can see and this is how you can go ahead and then use multi-color option apart from that
01:35you can also go ahead on to the color and then here you can make it transparent as well so you can see
01:41that you can see through and you can see that it is transparent as i do this so you want to create
01:47and create see through objects then you can simply go ahead and enable and disable transparent right
01:52here simply go ahead and then double click and select this particular shape you can only make that
01:57transparent as you can see right here as well and then you can see that one object is transparent
02:02while others are not and this is the effect that you see right here so this is what you have let me
02:08just go ahead and then ungroup this and you can see that this is a transparent object and these are
02:14not so when uh grouping is done you cannot just make individual object transparent but you have to
02:21make it all try um only one transparent right here and then ungroup the rest out to get this effect
02:28and that is how you can work around with multi-color option and transparency option inside of tinkercad
