00:16A few days ago a court filing said R. Kelly was sent to solitary within hours of claiming
00:21that prison officials took out a hit on his life.
00:24Well now outlets are saying a court filing submitted by the singer's attorney on Monday
00:28claims R. Kelly was left bedridden in a hospital after a staff member instructed him to take
00:33additional medication on the night of June 12th.
00:36The alleged overdose reportedly caused the I Believe I Can Fly artist to lose consciousness
00:41and he was then taken to Duke University Hospital according to defense attorneys.
00:46Kelly is claiming he was given enough medication to end his life and he is convinced he will
00:50be killed or left to die.
00:52He is arguing yet again to be released to home confinement.
00:56The prosecutors responded, this is the behavior of an abuser and a master manipulator on display.
01:03R. Kelly's attorneys have repeatedly asked for Trump to provide their client with a pardon,
01:08having publicly asked the president.
01:10Kelly is currently serving a three decade prison sentence for racketeering and sex trafficking
01:14convictions he received in 2021.
