Andhra Shocker: Woman Tied To Tree, Humiliated In Front Of Child Over Failure To Repay Debt

A woman was tied to a tree and humiliated in front of her child over unpaid loan in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. A heart-wrenching video of the incident which occurred in Kuppam, the assembly constituency of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has gone viral on social media platforms. The viral video showed a woman, identified as Sirisha, tied to a tree and being confronted by a couple of women while a child was heard crying in the background. Sirisha was harassed because her husband was unable to return INR 80,000 borrowed from a local lender who is allegedly associated with the ruling TDP.
