Zelenskyy secures non-military support package from traditionally neutral Austria

The Ukrainian leader confirmed the two countries signed a number of cooperation agreements in areas such as agriculture, reconstruction, and the return of abducted Ukrainian children from Russia.

00:01In his first visit to Austria since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine,
00:07President Zelenskyy has succeeded in drawing non-military support from the traditionally neutral nation.
00:15The Ukrainian leader confirmed the two countries had signed a number of cooperation agreements in key areas,
00:22including on Ukraine's reconstruction.
00:25We are very concerned about the support of Austria in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
00:31We need to do this not only after the war, but also now,
00:36to give more opportunities to our people, our cities, our cities.
00:42Zelenskyy's visit to Austria comes ahead of his trip to the G7 summit in Canada,
00:47where he is expected to call for more sanctions on Russia
00:51and discuss a potential U.S. military aid package with President Donald Trump.
00:57It also comes as Russia claims the U.S. has cancelled upcoming talks
01:02aimed at restoring diplomatic relations and resuming peace negotiations with Ukraine.
01:08Meanwhile, an exchange between Ukraine and Russia of the remains of soldiers killed in action,
01:15an arrangement agreed upon during the last round of peace talks in Istanbul has been completed.
01:22On the ground, however, Russian attacks continue,
01:25with a drone strike hitting the city of Sumy on Sunday night
01:29and Ukrainian power engineers coming under fire in Dnipro-Petrov's oblast.
