00:00For today's Manila Bulletin News Break, the Office of the Vice President is set to request a P733 million budget for 2026, the same as this year's allocation.
00:15Vice President Sara Duterte announced that the OVP will no longer continue its Medical and Burial Assistance Program and the Pansara Project that provided nutritional bonds to students.
00:29Duterte also confirmed that there will be no new projects for the OVP next year.
00:35She said she expects the budget to be rejected, citing political differences and last year's budget issues.
00:42However, Duterte decided to propose the same amount for 2026 with adjustments to account for inflation.
