Hi everyone, just a quick brief. I am sitting here today with Majusha from Gov News and the
00:10
team and I'm glad I have this opportunity for a couple of minutes to just explain about an
00:16
application called MADE which we initiated and launched about six weeks ago. Firstly MADE stands
00:22
for Music Arts Dance Entertainment which basically is a platform through an app that integrates and
00:30
connects talents to talent seekers in the easiest way in which it takes a couple of minutes. All the
00:36
talent has to do is go into the app which is a free app, fill in the profile, put the price, put the
00:42
video, try to put an amazing video there so that people love and see it again and again and again
00:47
and we have talent seekers which are individuals and businesses also filling in their profile
00:52
talent. Whatever you're looking for in that genre of music, arts, dance, entertainment you'll be able
00:56
to connect with them in two minutes. So as soon as you like someone you fill in, you search and you
01:03
have maybe about six or seven fields, ratings, reviews, likes, how much do you want to pay, claps and so
01:11
forth and it will identify exactly what you're looking for. You click on, you fill in the details and you
01:17
connect directly to the talent and both parties can speak to each other, agree, meet and you
01:23
can hire a talent in minutes. So I urge you to just download the app, go through the app and I hope
01:31
it will benefit you because the whole idea of the app is to use technology and digital in the digital era
01:39
today to expedite you being discovered, you being seen, increasing livelihoods for talents, exposing
01:47
talent seekers to different talents that we don't usually see. Let me know what you think once you
01:53
download the app. What's the most unique profession that a talent seeker that you have?
02:00
Unique, I would say, I'll start with the most popular is DJs. Unique, I would say probably someone
02:08
who writes poetry and someone who is a graphic designer who writes in Arabic in different languages
02:18
and we're blessed that we just launched a few weeks ago and if you look at the app we actually
02:26
now have over a thousand talents that have come in and a few hundred businesses, individuals and
02:32
businesses that have subscribed and that have filled in the details and connected.
02:38
Excellent. And who decides the remuneration, may I ask? Is there like a bar that you all set or is it
02:43
the talent seeker or the corporate who tells you? No, the one who sets the remuneration, Madusha,
02:48
is the talent and most of them look at what the market dictates and at the end of the day,
02:54
once they connect with talent seekers and they put the remuneration, since they connect directly,
02:59
they'll be able to negotiate the price. Once they connect, even if there's a posting of a certain
03:04
price, I leave it between the two parties. I do not get involved in any of this. Our job is to be a
03:11
supplier of talent to the people that need it in minutes. It could be a sick DJ, they need it replaced,
03:19
or a birthday party that you need a specific comedian and a magician. So you're eliminating
03:25
agents in a way or no? No, no. The more the merrier. At the end of the day, it is a supplier of talent.
03:32
So absolutely, agents is one of our key clients that we will come to, that we will work together
03:37
to be able and I hope to be able to supply them with the talent that they need for their events.
03:42
All of us have to put our hands together and work because entertainment is one of the fastest and
03:49
largest growing sectors in the UAE, Saudi, Egypt, I would say in the Middle East today. So yes,
03:55
the collaboration is extremely important, be it agents, be it government agencies, be it creative
04:04
departments in different schools for students to expose the talents that they have. And once they
04:10
graduate, if they want to work as freelancers, they'll be seen through a platform which facilitates
04:14
this. Excellent. Thank you so much and all the best. You're welcome. You're welcome for this. I appreciate it.
