00:13He wants to come through after that clash between the two McLaren drivers.

00:17Max Verstappen makes his way out then for another podium here in Montreal.

00:22His first came in 2018, and he's won the last three races here.

00:27The second step for him today is George Russell.

00:33Climbs his way onto the podium for the second time.

00:36And for the first time, he looks down on the other two podium finishes and smiles.

00:40For the fifth time here in Montreal, a Mercedes driver takes the victory.

00:45And for the first time, it's not Lewis Hamilton.

00:48He'd won the four previous races here before.

00:51And for George Russell, he's now finished on the podium more times this season

00:54than he did in the whole of 2024.

00:58It's another win for Happy George.

01:11They went back, didn't they, to their rear suspension that they brought in in Imola

01:15and decided to park it for a while.

01:18Well, they understood how to set it up properly, and it's certainly worked well for them today.

01:22And that's the story this season, isn't it?

01:27And if you don't deliver your full potential, as McLaren having this weekend, you don't.

01:32And that's how close they are.

01:34I think in a straight bike with some faster corners, McLaren probably still got slightly the fastest car.
