00:00Number 4, Ian Hutchinson, one of the main men for sure, and I've never seen him as fired up as what it was before this race.
00:15This man is going to be chasing him, because he is between these two, really, has been actually done a lot.
00:19They've been the fastest throughout practice.
00:21This man has won, and we ride with Michael Dunlop, he won the first superbike race, the big six, that we had here on Saturday.
00:26And since then, Ian Hutchinson has won the other three races, super stock and the two super small races.
00:37John McGinnis floats over the top of Bougarra. Wait a minute, this is the bottom of Bougarra. You'll see it compress and bottom out.
00:44It's hard to normally fly at that point, full tank of fuel.
00:47As we look down on Ian Hutchinson, who will be doing everything he can to try and get a first sector, because it's all about who gets to Ballard first.
00:55And I'm talking about him and Dunlop. As we look at Hutchinson now, standing on the footrest, as he always does, he takes all that weight off the bike, but it's got to be hard.
01:02Yeah, as the first man on his hit, this will be James Hillier, as he goes up the top of Bougarra.
01:06This is James Hillier, some time ago going through the bottom of Bougarra.
01:10Yeah, there is the fairing, scraping on the ground there, as all the springs get compressed to the bottom.
01:14We ride with Dean Harrison at the moment. There it is. At the moment, Dunlop has a small advantage over Hutchinson.
01:19And Harrison, who we ride with in third.
01:23This is number five. This is Peter Hickman, and he's been caught already that ten seconds back for Michael Dunlop.
01:29He's flying his Michael.
01:31And the same deal. It's hard to pass through these parts. It's bumpy, and he's using all the track.
01:35Pit board came out there, we saw at Ginger Hall. Yeah, trying to get through.
01:39Davo Johnson, we ride with him on the Norton. What a wonderful sounding machine. This has got the V4 Aprilia engine.
01:45So Hutchinson is now keeping his head down, and he's had a signal to say that he's in second place. We know he'll have had a signal.
01:53Yeah, he gets a signal at the Gooseneck, and the next person he will see on the road will be Bruce Anstett on the RCB213.
02:01Another foot comes out. This is Hilliard. Yeah, this is Hilliard.
02:07He has to get past him as well, and he does so pretty easily, actually.
02:11I can't believe the politeness of everyone today, but they know he's charging, and I guess if they don't let him through, he's going to force his way through.
02:18He's got to get past anyway. Yeah.
02:20So now Hilliard's got a chance to tag on the back of that number six BMW, the Hawk BMW.
02:26Stephen and Stuart Higgins put a good motorcycle under him every time they come here.
02:30Remember, they delivered a bike for him halfway through the week last year.
02:33Yeah, and them boys know what they're doing anyway. They produce bikes for BSB, and they're always good and always reliable.
02:38As Dean Harrison looks to take a tear-off, have we had to have a couple of clothes?
02:42I'm not sure if he even got it then, but there you go. Dunlop, after the first lap, has the advantage.
02:472.83. That's fast. Hickman, Anstey, Johnson there in fifth.
02:51We ride with Peter Hickman. You can see the flyers on the screen.
02:54Yeah, Peter Hickman's in the third. This is a really bad...
02:56Oh, he's out. He's out.
02:57No, he isn't. Whatever happened, he's fairly...
03:00He's not happy either, understandably.
03:02It's a big one because whatever happened, he knew it was a terminal one.
03:07Yeah, that's Brandiwell right up the top, the highest part of the course.
03:10Over the grandstand, and Michael Dunlop comes in to the pit stop.
03:16What's the time going to be as he gets through?
03:19Then look at that, another lap record. Outright lap record for Michael Dunlop.
03:24All these pit crews fitting new rear tyres. Oh, look at this. Hillier in the pit.
03:34Nice steady pit lane limiter on. Nothing out of order so far.
03:40First down the pit, John McGuinness. A typical Honda pit stop. The fastest.
03:45Hutchie misses a gear. Stabbed on the gear lever. Gets it back in. Pit lane limiter on. Down he goes. Always the fastest down to pit lane.
03:53You see Hutchison going back past John McGuinness. That just shows how fast that Honda stop was.
04:01It was about six seconds faster than Hutchie, and that takes a lot of time catching up on the road.
04:06So, McGuinness had a really good stop.
04:08You know, it's free time in the pits as far as the rider goes.
04:11OK, here's confirmation. Look at that. McGuinness up to third place. That was due to that really fast pit stop.
04:15And sitting down to fourth, Harrison and Johnson.
04:17OK, Seagull flashes over top. As Hutchie goes over the line, still leads on the road.
04:22He didn't get the start of the lap, and there's John McGuinness hanging in there right behind him.
04:25Here comes Michael Dunlop. We're going to get to see a gap, I think, shortly.
04:30Get the clock on.
04:34And there you have it, and it is Dunlop now up to 13.35 seconds. McGuinness third.
04:39Bruce Anstier, who he knows knocked around, is doing a really good job there in fourth.
04:43This is McGuinness looking forward towards the back end of Ian Hutchinson's Tyco BM.
04:49Here we go. As we heard from Steve Plater, all these top runners had new rear tyres fitted after the second lap.
04:55They'll have a new rear tyre fitted after the fourth lap as they go through the bottom there.
04:59Bottom of Begarra. And this man's not too far behind.
05:02If he's caught up, what, 13 seconds on Ian Hutchinson, he's only seven seconds around. He's got to be here to see him on the long sections.
05:08Yeah, I would think almost certainly get Solby straight, and he'll catch a glimpse of what's going on there.
05:12Right, here we go. Three bikes in shot. Actually, four bikes.
05:16So, number four, that's your second place, Ian Hutchinson. Number one, that's John McGuinness.
05:20Number 70, that's Mark Goodings. He's not involved in that battle at all. Slow rider. And your leader, number six, Michael Dunlop.
05:27End of lap four. Last pit stop of the race and last pit stop of the week.
05:31Hutch is in the pits first. First on the road, first in the pits.
05:35Again, Michael looking relaxed, visor up, pulls up at the pits, stands straight in, the cap's off straight away, no problem.
05:41There's Hutchinson out of pit lane, being very careful. 56, 55 club as an hour.
05:48Michael Dunlop, he's going to get straight out behind Hutchinson. That's going to make him very interesting on the road.
05:54And the lead to Michael Dunlop, he can just cruise and keep Hutchinson in sight.
05:58And there is Hutchinson out. Now, John McGuinness told us before he's going to get his grappling hook out and try and hook on the back of Hutchinson.
06:05But it seems as though he can't do that. There he is. To some extent, he's up to me. And there's Michael Dunlop.
06:10And he's got him inside. Now, all he has to do is keep Hutchinson inside. Sure. But that's not...
06:16Will he do that? No. Michael Dunlop will want to get in front, won't he? Want to pass? I'm sure he will.
06:20He'll have to keep out the way of any stones and things being flicked up, but you can't imagine Michael Dunlop not wanting to get past Hutchinson.
06:27So Hutchinson goes over the line, leading the race again.
06:31Well, maybe he's not going to be leading it till the end, because if Michael Dunlop can catch him, I think.
06:34And here he is, Michael Dunlop. John McGuinness, foot out. There you go. And thumbs up for Michael Dunlop.
06:39From Michael Dunlop? Yeah, that's because he'll come out of Governor's Wish's first gear, in the trees, and he will have heard the engine revving.
06:45And actually, Michael Dunlop might have just revved his engine just to let John know he was there. Now, John, we're trying to tag on to your race leader now.
06:51So now we have the battle we've been waiting for, really, on the road. Hutchinson leads. There he is, Michael Dunlop.
06:56It is wheel tracks, two BMWs. We've got the 37-year-old from Yorkshire, and we've got the 27-year-old from Balamundi in Ireland.
07:04Hutchinson has a look over his shoulder, and that's not what he wanted to see.
07:07So, on board with Hutchinson now, and we know he'll be disappointed with this. He was hoping for his fourth win today.
07:13He thought he could, he thought he chose the right bike, but Dunlop has been absolutely supreme.
07:17Yep, that's Dunlop out on to the start and finish straight, the Glen Crutchery Road. What a fantastic...
07:23Is it going to be a wheelie? Yeah, is it going to be a wheelie over the line for him?
07:26It's 13th TT win, and he's pretty pumped about that, so it should be. How about that?
07:30A race record, a win that makes his 13th, and also a lap record.
07:34Ian Hutchinson over the line, a big wheelie for him in second position.
07:38John McGuinness will come home third, but very, very special.
07:41That's 22 podiums now for Michael Dunlop.
07:43It's like getting my lap to, I just had a good push on, and sat, not sat there, you know.
07:53I should have pushed on a bit harder if I knew that, but yeah, job's good.
07:57Yeah.
07:58Yeah.
07:59Yeah.
08:00Yeah, yeah.
08:01Yeah.
