00:00Bruce Anstey on his number one bike led the pack away, but it was Connor Cummings who
00:12set the pace with an opening lap speed of 131.182 on lap two the king of the mountain
00:22John McGuinness picked up the baton with a blistering speed of 131.135
00:34Australia's Cameron Donald had pulled up in lap one but by the time the top four had left the pits
00:39after lap two there was just six seconds between them
00:47but what was developing into a thrilling race suddenly came to a stop
00:51after the race was red flagged Guy Martin had come off his bike
00:55the bike had caught fire and the fire brigade were at the scene
00:59the riders were called back to Park Fermi where they waited anxiously
01:05so number one again will be Bruce Anstey the Kiwi sets off again and heads off down towards Bray Hill
01:11front wheel up in the air as he tears over the traffic lights there as the man poised with the
01:15yellow flag John McGuinness number two sets off yep then number three locker behind him this is
01:20John McGuinness going down Bray Hill first time he knows he's got to go fast he knows that
01:25Hutchins is behind number four a bit of a wobble there but of course brand new rear tyre full tank
01:29and this is the man that we know is going to be chasing him number four Ian Hutchins going for that
01:34fifth win this week yeah and determined to make a good start tends to want to settle into a race
01:39he's determined to get going from the office charger leaves everywhere on board with him over
01:44Aggo's leap trying to lean up the front they use the rear brake a lot at this point trying to keep the front
01:48there and the shot of Hutchins coming down this is look at this front wheel in the air and the rear
01:52stepping out James yep and at 160 miles an hour at this point check that mud guard out the force is
01:59going through that bike yeah we're looking now at Bruce Anstey he's through Ballaspur and on towards
02:04the Glen Helen section this is going to come in he's about to get away the local boy has come so close to
02:11winning a senior race last year ended up runner-up but there he goes to see what he can do and news from
02:17Glen Helen your taxi driver number two John McGuinness now just half a second down on Ian Hutchinson
02:23no doubt leads this race and he can't afford to get held up by this man Bruce Anstey as they both
02:28land at the same time and fire it off up towards Balacry that other amazing jump yeah and he's not
02:34going to be able to get past Anstey at this point because he has to go from curb to curb to get lined
02:38up and he is going to he's going to have a go before Balacry jump yeah John McGuinness he hasn't had a
02:43great week but he is still very fast he loves the superbike he's so stylish and it's got to be full
02:49commitment with one of these bikes and here is the man that is that 0.7 in front of him Ian Hutchinson
02:55he's up at the veranda here now through the left-hander through the next left here then there's three
03:00right-handers but this is incredibly fast through here beautiful views but he's not got time to look
03:05at them yeah no way has he got time to look and that's another car and that's a big wobble for Ian
03:10Hutchinson there quite bumpy in places at the veranda this is what it looked like from the
03:14helicopter oh and you can see it tying itself in a knot there that steering damper having to work
03:19overtime as Hutchie was fighting with that bike
03:24that's number seven Michael Dunlop climbing the hill I'm not sure if that bike sounded perfectly okay but
03:29he's still there in fourth spot yeah we're looking backwards from Michael Dunlop's Honda now
03:35and I don't know whether he's going just so quick it is not he's out and this shouldn't be happening
03:41Steve this he shouldn't be coming this camp Donald after one lap he's not doing no what is going on at
03:47the moment the poor lad but there's the confirmation we spoke about point six between Hutchinson and
03:51McGuinness Cummings there in third and more Farquhar and Steve there you can see in six we've got a proper
03:56race on his hands but Donald now out and off the back that looks like his race is done
04:02there goes McGuinness looking smooth plenty of road left there of course and we're on board with him
04:07now he is always Mr. Smooth absolutely yeah into the Glen Helen section tree-lined picture race
04:16you hear the revs go up and down as that tire goes over onto the smaller part when you get these bikes
04:20laid over yeah and this is where you don't want to catch your back because it is absolutely curb to curb
04:25and this doesn't look so good he's not going so quick here Steve no I think it's cut the bike has
04:30stopped yeah another time for the HM plant team that's out isn't it yep and that's at Glen Helen
04:35and he's out of this race that stopped virtually well he's got he's got a pub to walk back to but
04:42yeah it just isn't happening for John McGuinness this year it didn't last year without chain
04:46breaking this same race or the HM plant Honda team but it is working all right for this man
04:52number 10 Connor Cummins is there so that's uh moved him up now into second place yep this is
04:57Hutchinson now with uh Bruce Anstey Bruce Anstey's still going strong and causing Hutchinson some
05:05trouble he's through now no he's not that is always an awkward section through here to try and pass so
05:11he is getting held up now little will he know that his main competitor John McGuinness has gone
05:15out at this point yeah this is griever bridge he'll know pretty soon because I think Hutchinson's got
05:19a signal board just coming out of the next proper corner which is Balochrane and there he is number
05:24four Hutchinson he now has a three second advantage over Connor Cummins the young Ramsey man would be
05:30keen to get his first ever TT win of course he was leading the race on Saturday when the machine broke
05:35good shots in trying to squeeze that viewed for him as if he's behind the fairies he had a clutch
05:43issue that they couldn't get the bike changing gear probably broke the gearbox in the end I think
05:47there it goes number 12 one far far what a week he's had he just hasn't put a foot wrong and he's waving
05:54at the whole helicopter yeah and probably getting a tear off off at the same time and not much time
05:59around this circuit to start taking those tear offs they normally have at least two on for the flies
06:04here comes Cummins look at him buried underneath the screen there I'm sure everyone in Ramsey's got
06:08lots of neighbors and friends around this area yeah all his mates will be out this is where he lives
06:13this is coming out of Ramsey up Mayhill towards the hairpin just a few little damp patches under the
06:18trees that I saw this morning when I did a lap but he's holding station it's 3.2 seconds it's not
06:23changing a lot he's still pushing on into the bungalow and the sun's still out now that is Ryan Farquhar
06:29Connor Cummins has not come through he was in front of this man Ryan Farquhar
06:33yeah number 10 coming should have been through already on board with Ian Hutchinson so now the
06:37lead that Ian Hutchinson will have is 27 seconds over Keith Moore back in second and Ryan Carp Farquhar
06:43up to third but word is coming through that unfortunately Connor Cummins has crashed on the veranda
06:50well the Bingley bullet came here with three TT wins he could get five in a week making a total of
06:56eight yep heading off down the Braille section who's in that's Ian Locker he's in Keith Moore's
07:02on his way out yeah and Locker going well you've been saying that he's the elder gentleman but he's
07:06still got some fire in him he's really going well Locker there in fifth absolutely yeah he's 46 years
07:12old but knows his way around this place like the back of his hand there we go and that's about as
07:18out of shape as we've seen Hutchie all week it is he's uh i think he's probably backed off a little
07:22bit but there goes the number five bike of Keith Moore well just the run up to the finishing line
07:28what sort of reception is he going to get he has a good old look over his shoulder there's no one around
07:32at all and he comes up here this is fabulous oh it's superman he nearly lose it but he's done it
07:38Ian Hutchinson that has made a total of eight TT wins five this week it is unbelievable you know
07:44luck's just been on our side so much this week and i'll certainly never ever complain if i have a
07:49breakdown again you know it's uh i've had my bad years here and i'm going to uh enjoy the good year
