00:00Adrian, thank you so much. Adrian, now, tell me, were you with us from the start?
00:05I think probably from about a month after the start.
00:10But I remember Tom had slightly longer hair in those days as well.
00:15Yes, he had that kind of dishevelled floppy look, didn't he?
00:18Smartened up in the last couple of years, perhaps.
00:20Look, I'm helping you celebrate. I've opened a bottle of fizz for you and I'm raising it to you and the team.
00:27Many congratulations and happy birthday.
00:29You're a man after my own heart. I can't wait to have the fizz very soon indeed.
00:34But Adrian, so how did you find out about GB News? Was it word of mouth? Did you see it online?
00:39How did you find out about us?
00:41Well, a lot's happened, Emily, in the last four years.
00:44And to be perfectly honest, I can't really remember.
00:48I have a sneaking suspicion that somebody had said to me, have you ever watched GB News?
00:54And I said no. So I thought, well, I'll put it on.
00:57And I have to say I've never looked back.
00:58I've sacked ITV, definitely sacked the BBC.
01:03Sacked Sky, I'm an absolute follower of you guys.
01:07And you deserve every moment of your four years of celebration.
01:12Well, thank you so much, Adrian.
01:15And to be honest, it is people who have stuck with us through the thick and thin.
01:20Because at the start there, there were some teething problems.
01:24There was the occasional camera that decided to swivel around the wrong way.
01:28The lights that would turn out the set that looked slightly less shiny and perhaps professional than it does today.
01:36But I suppose that's one of the amazing things about this channel.
01:38People feel like they've been with us through the thick and thin.
01:42Growing with the channel sort of breeds that sort of sense of familiarity.
01:47And I'm selling your benefits every day still.
01:52Constantly, I say to people, you need to tune in to GB News if you believe in free speech, free market, a balanced view.
02:02I say they have MPs from the right, MPs from the left.
02:07Fantastic presenters in yourselves, Nana, Mark, who's coming on shortly.
02:14It's a great channel to be part of.
02:16Oh, it absolutely is.
02:18It's a wonderful place to work.
02:19But it's also fantastic to meet viewers and listeners.
02:21And I must say, I'm meeting more and more people who watch this channel every week out there across the country,
02:28whether it's in London or whether it's around the town you were in Darlington last week.
02:31Oh, yeah, lots of people came up to us in Darlington, actually.
02:34I imagine so.
02:35It's a fantastic sense of community.
02:37So, Adrian, so four years on, what can we do better, Adrian?
02:43Cut the advertising.
02:46The advertising goes on too long and they're too repetitive.
02:51Oh, Adrian, we've got to pay the bills.
02:53We've got to keep the lights on.
02:54If the advertisers haven't got their message across yet, too late.
02:57Yeah, find some others.
02:58Well, Adrian, Jell, thanks so much for joining us.
03:01Thanks for being with us since almost the start.
03:04What a legend.
03:05And, of course, everyone else who's joined us on this amazing journey.
