00:00To be continued...
00:30I can give you the rest of your life.
00:41Previously on Tough Enough...
00:43Jamie doubts herself and she gets a little tentative sometime in the rain.
00:46The ribs are getting bad. They keep on escalating. It's just getting ridiculous.
00:51What fun is it just to get Jonah? Why not get them all?
00:55We got back from Iceland. First day back at tracks.
01:01It's very serious right now. Competition's getting very hot.
01:05I'm the last girl. Now I'm competing with the guys and so that kind of sucks.
01:12We'll take Kelly's name off the list.
01:14Just remember, as long as your name's white, you're alright.
01:17Your name's red, your dream's dead.
01:20Get back from Iceland. We gotta get to work.
01:21Game faces have to be on. I know everybody's tired, but I don't care.
01:25You have an important last three weeks here.
01:27Be focused because with the end comes obviously some more cuts.
01:31Everybody's worried about being cut at this stage.
01:33We wish you could get inside the trainer's heads and see exactly what they're looking for.
01:37Now teaches us leapfrogs.
01:46Shoot Jonah off. Leapfrog up. Get the other ropes.
01:51When you guys go through, it's gotta be like this.
01:53We have a lot of fun learning the new stuff.
01:59Come on. I've never seen that one before.
02:04Get the vertical leap of the barbarian.
02:06I knew it. I knew somebody would do it.
02:19Jamie went for a leapfrog and she didn't jump up high enough.
02:22You alright? You okay?
02:23No, I'm okay.
02:24You sure? You alright? You knocked the wind out of you?
02:26Okay. Just knocked the wind out of her.
02:28Yeah.
02:29Because you're waving right at her chest.
02:30I don't feel that confident doing that drill.
02:34Ah!
02:36I was upset that I was having a tough time keeping my balance, keeping focused.
02:43I can't get over the fact that you have no comprehension of anything you've been taught.
02:48Justin has been having a lot of, like, physical problems in the ring.
02:52I just don't think Justin has the it factor.
02:54I don't want to be in the ring with someone who can't hold their mud.
02:59You are a wet noodle in there.
03:00That's the drizzling f***s.
03:02Bill basically told me you have to get through it.
03:07It was just very aggravating.
03:09I was getting a little frustrated with myself.
03:13I didn't feel like I had my footwork down on how I wanted it to.
03:15Jonah is definitely a scumbag.
03:21Why don't you do the dishes, man?
03:22What the f***?
03:23He doesn't do his, uh, fair share of cleaning.
03:26Dude, will you look in these f***ing pants?
03:29They clean up your food.
03:31He's in his college mode.
03:32If a cereal bowl is laying out, most likely it's Jonah's.
03:35I am not the neatest person.
03:36That's why we have Eric in the house.
03:38He's a neat person.
03:40He's supposed to clean up after the slubs.
03:41He'd be a great house husband.
03:43Jonah is probably the biggest slob in the house.
04:01He leaves stuff everywhere that's to any dishes.
04:06Driven in this business is a time-honored tradition.
04:09And the cast of Tough Enough is living up to
04:12the time-honored tradition part very well
04:14by ribbing left and right.
04:16I've been threatening to get Jonah
04:18for quite some time.
04:20I'm gonna get you when you're asleep.
04:21Now the game's afoot.
04:23They have no idea what they're getting into.
04:24You'll be mine.
04:25Oh, yes.
04:42Well, up until now, Jonah felt that he could get anyone.
04:45He was untouchable.
04:46Me being a house trainer, I gotta get involved.
04:52So I went out and bought about four or five cans of shaving cream.
04:56Operation Snowstorm worked great in the house.
04:58Go to the top of the stairs first.
05:00Go to Jonah and Eric's room.
05:01Go to the end of the room as deep as we can go
05:04before we wake him up.
05:04As we stood on the foot of Jonah and Eric's bed
05:20before we blew them up with shaving cream,
05:23we laughed.
05:24We never lied to the kids.
05:26They just don't believe us.
05:28I wake up.
05:40I see all white around me.
05:42I just get up.
05:42I'm like, what's going on, Eric?
05:43What's going on?
05:46I'm hearing people running around upstairs.
05:48So I get up, and Bill opens the door,
05:51and I jump on him.
05:52Wow!
05:53Uncle, he's bad, dude.
05:55Bill, he's got shaving cream all up the side of his,
06:04left side of his head, all over.
06:07He looks at me and just starts laughing
06:08because from here up was nothing but a total sheet
06:13of shaving cream about two inches thick.
06:17I tried to help you up the shaving cream,
06:18but he sprayed it like, oh, oh, my God.
06:22Basically, they would, like, bomb.
06:23It just blew up everywhere.
06:25Jonah was just covered in white.
06:28Oh, yeah, look at this.
06:29No, look at that.
06:29Look at that.
06:31Oh, those .
06:32Al and Bill came in and just snow-bombed our house
06:35with shaving cream.
06:36It was a devastating operation.
06:38I'll give him a lot of credit.
06:39I'll get you out of snow.
06:41It was the last thing I'd do.
06:43Look at that, I'm looking all smug.
06:55What's going on?
06:56How do you guys feel?
06:58I feel beat up.
07:00A little lack of sleep last night.
07:02You had company?
07:03Would you have company?
07:04Yeah.
07:05One of them left his hat there.
07:08I got a hat like that.
07:09I was asked to pick a challenge.
07:33We're here to do stunts today.
07:35You see something that I see?
07:38We see this huge scaffolding.
07:41And we see this guy up on top.
07:44And we're like, man, we are not going to do that.
07:47Hey, tough enough.
07:48You guys got what it takes?
07:53Their jaws all dropped, of course,
07:55when they walked into this backyard.
07:56And they looked up, and they saw this 45-foot scaffold.
08:00This is going to be thrilling.
08:02This is Ken Clark.
08:03Hey, guys.
08:03We're going to be a jumper today.
08:06John.
08:06And this is Mark Vanslow.
08:07I'll go the other direction.
08:09Right on.
08:10I think it's really a great idea
08:11to get what you can from Mark and Ken today
08:14on what it feels like to be airborne.
08:16You'll get a good sense where your body is,
08:17like we teach you in the ring.
08:18I've done it 100 times,
08:20and every time I go up there,
08:21I still get queasy in my belly,
08:22because it'll kill you.
08:24You should scare the crap out of you,
08:25and that's what keeps you safe.
08:26We're moving on to here.
08:27We're going to start throwing you guys off of stuff.
08:30Jump out, push my feet out.
08:32Boom!
08:33Jonah?
08:34Yeah.
08:35Yeah?
08:35No.
08:36He's a great champion, this guy.
08:38I've fallen off every challenge we've had so far.
08:41I've blown it.
08:42You know, every challenge we do,
08:44Jonah has a big blunder.
08:45Oh!
08:46Well, we'll probably take you up to the top first.
08:49Not any practice.
08:50The whole thing played right into wrestling,
08:53so it kind of helps us with our body control in the air.
08:57Hunt!
09:04We ready for airbag?
09:09Yes.
09:10Yeah.
09:10We moved to the scaffolding,
09:12which was 20 feet in the air.
09:14I got up there, and I was free.
09:16You know, I don't do well on heights.
09:22The jumping part wasn't that bad.
09:24It was the whole getting up onto the ledge
09:26that was the hard part.
09:28Just standing on the wobbly scaffolding
09:30was a little scary.
09:31As I increased,
09:40it got more and more important
09:41that we kept our form.
09:44We're going to the next level.
09:48When I go first in any challenge,
09:51everybody kind of uses me as guinea pig.
09:53Oh!
09:54Go slow.
09:55Go slow down.
09:56Holy s***.
09:58You can just tell he's shaking,
09:59and he's nervous.
10:00He's not too fond of heights to begin with.
10:02Same thing.
10:03You know how to do this.
10:04Just looking down from the 30-foot ledge,
10:08and I was holding on for my life.
10:10Woo!
10:12Looking good up there.
10:14I'm doing it.
10:18Eventually jumps off,
10:20goes down like a bullet.
10:22You know, had no form whatsoever.
10:25Basically landed on his feet in the mat,
10:28which, you know,
10:28was one of the worst things you could do.
10:30Are you all right?
10:31Yeah, yeah.
10:32A little feet heavy, huh?
10:33I don't care about the form.
10:34I did it.
10:36Have a nice day.
10:38We didn't do it the right way.
10:39At that point,
10:40Mark and Ken just said,
10:41you know,
10:41you guys aren't experienced enough,
10:43and they pulled the plug on the operation.
10:45The technique was really poor,
10:47and when you make a mistake here in technique,
10:50people get hurt or killed.
10:51I was looking forward to jumping off
10:53the higher ledge,
10:53but, of course,
10:55Jonah ruins it for us.
10:56I'm doubting myself.
10:57Like, I don't know what to do.
11:03Hey.
11:05What's wrong?
11:06I talked to my girlfriend, Melissa,
11:08and, uh,
11:09from the phone call,
11:10I just had a bad feeling.
11:12What's bothering you?
11:14Why are you crying?
11:15Are you gonna talk to me?
11:16I don't know anything to talk about.
11:20You don't want to tell me anything.
11:21You don't want to talk to me about anything.
11:24What's bothering you?
11:26I'm just with you.
11:27I didn't know about...
11:28I don't know.
11:29You okay?
11:31Yeah.
11:32I love you.
11:35Good night.
11:38I'm so far away,
11:39I'm, you know,
11:40not in contact with her a lot.
11:42To have a bad conversation,
11:43you know,
11:45throws you the opposite way.
11:47All right, Bob.
11:48She didn't talk to you.
11:49She didn't talk to Spratt's all night.
11:51It's rough.
11:52I wish she'd just be cool with everything.
11:54It'd make me feel better, dude.
11:56Yeah.
11:56Without being here, you know?
12:08You learn running the ropes,
12:10taking turnbuckles.
12:11Take the guy back.
12:13Put your hands up.
12:14And follow through.
12:16Ready to hammer head?
12:21At first, I mean, it was brutal.
12:22Hitting it wrong.
12:23It took about three times for me
12:25to get the hang of it.
12:26I'm grabbing you,
12:27and it's like this.
12:30Okay, Frankenstein?
12:31Yeah.
12:31Jamie and I were just working together in the ring.
12:46I thought my head was in the game,
12:53but it obviously wasn't because my body just wasn't feeling it.
12:57I was physically just, like, not there.
13:00Stop.
13:01Stop for a second.
13:02You all right, Matt?
13:03Matt ended up all laid out on the floor.
13:05He was knocked out cold.
13:06I was going under for a late frog,
13:19and he was coming down instead of over me.
13:23And we hit, and it turned out he was really blacked out.
13:26What?
13:30Okay?
13:33What'd you do?
13:33You locked out a little bit.
13:34Oh, yeah.
13:35From what they told me,
13:36I was out cold for about 15 seconds or so,
13:39something like that.
13:41I thought you were kidding.
13:42You were out for a while.
13:44He's still out.
13:44Yeah.
13:45It was her shoulder.
13:47It was her shoulder.
13:48Jamie, she had a hard time.
13:49When you're doing a leapfrog,
13:50you have to jump over the person
13:51and give them enough room to duck under you.
13:54You all right?
13:54Yeah.
13:55Let's get a slap in the head.
13:57Get a drink.
13:58Go get a drink of water.
13:59Get a drink.
13:59He was out for a while.
14:00He's still out.
14:01He's a glassy guy.
14:01He's a little glassy guy.
14:03I feel guys are hesitant to work with me already
14:05because I'm a girl,
14:06and now I'm hurting people.
14:08I don't want to be a danger in the ring.
14:09This is not ballet.
14:12People get bumped and bruised and banged up.
14:15Getting hurt to us is different
14:16than it is to other people.
14:19You guys are lucky enough
14:20to have as a guest trainer today,
14:22Chris Benoit.
14:28It was really neat to see him, Chris Benoit.
14:36Stocky, thick neck.
14:37You know, just like you see on TV.
14:40Jonah.
14:41I'm Eric.
14:41Nice to meet you.
14:42Chris Benoit is probably one of the greatest wrestlers,
14:45technically.
14:46I don't have an ego when I step into that ring.
14:49I'm there to have the best match for the people.
14:51He talked to us about respect and attitude in the business,
14:55and that's what makes a business work.
14:57What was being shown to me,
14:58what was being taught to me was respect.
15:00Respect for this business,
15:02respect for this industry,
15:04for this art,
15:05because it truly is a form of art.
15:08Chris Benoit is one of the top people in the business.
15:10He's a specialty suplexes.
15:12Bring my foot up.
15:15I'm going to plan my foot.
15:16I'm going.
15:17These kids have the crippler right in front of them,
15:21and they're about to get suplexed
15:23by one of the best of the best.
15:27Everything he does is, like, way quick and perfect,
15:29you know?
15:30It's, like, crisp and neat.
15:32To wrestle around with him was awesome.
15:35He critiqued us a little bit
15:36and he definitely gave us some good pointers.
15:40Get full.
15:41Get your body language.
15:47When me and Eric did it,
15:48I was totally feeling it.
15:49I think it was the best I've ever done it thus far.
15:53Chris came over to me and Eric.
15:55He was, like, that was awesome.
15:57That felt really good, you know,
15:58because I was in that rut for, like,
16:00the last couple days.
16:04That's what he said.
16:04That's what he said.
16:06One, two, three.
16:22Why didn't you kick out?
16:23I just thought that it was going to s***.
16:25That's the boundary of that attitude line.
16:28It's like you guys are in here to learn.
16:30Learn as much as you can.
16:31Be in here as much as you can.
16:32Right.
16:32If you're not going to take advantage of this time,
16:35you've got to go.
16:35Right.
16:36You know, you don't belong here.
16:38These kids have such an opportunity.
16:39I really don't think they quite grasp
16:43what they have in the palm of their hands.
16:45You really have to love it and want it
16:48and make it part of your life
16:50and live, sleep, eat, breathe.
16:53It's got to become everything.
16:55So really, please,
16:57respect and appreciate what he has given you.
16:59I actually felt really bad for the whole day.
17:09I mean, my thoughts were all over the place.
17:11Thinking about it, it just gets worse and worse and worse.
17:14So I drank and I drank and I drank and I drank.
17:22I don't even remember what happened in the fall of the rest of the night.
17:25Keep on walking.
17:26I've never seen him that intoxicated before.
17:31Jonah, basically out of control.
17:34Do it, do it, do it.
17:35No, no, no, no.
17:35Right there.
17:36I mean, Jonah just kind of cracked him.
17:44You could see in Jonah's eyes,
17:45he was completely out of it.
17:46It's almost as if Jonah has become the new Scott.
17:58The next day, we go to the Improv Olympics
18:01and we didn't really know what to expect.
18:03Okay, guys, welcome to Improv Olympic West.
18:07This is your first step in your character development.
18:09I want to introduce you to your teacher.
18:11This is Paul.
18:12Basically, we're going to do a whole bunch
18:14of different improv exercises that relate to wrestling.
18:17Because in a wrestling match,
18:19what you're basically doing is improv.
18:21Think about five words or five ideas
18:24that capture your character.
18:25Paul wanted to see, you know,
18:28where we were going with our characters.
18:29Kind of cut almost little promos,
18:32so to speak, on stage.
18:33I'm the flavor, baby.
18:35I'm quick, strong, and flashy like a Corvette.
18:39You want me?
18:40You want to be me?
18:41The aftertaste is bitter.
18:42The standard I am is looked up to.
18:46When I enter the ring,
18:48I'm going to grab that sweet tooth.
18:49Black Red Hot Johnny Blaine!
18:51I thought, like, a vixen way would be a good way to bring out a part of myself.
18:57It's all about the sexual innuendos everywhere.
19:00The vixen is about the sexy.
19:04The vixen knows that all you girls are jealous of this body.
19:11Jamie is up there talking about vixen.
19:13She's holding her own out there.
19:14I can not only rock it in the ring, but I can rock it elsewhere.
19:19As you start to climb towards the top of the pinnacle.
19:22So get your backpacks, get your notebooks, get your hiking shoes on,
19:28and start taking notes as you start to climb.
19:31Justin also kind of surprised me.
19:33Like, I thought he would be good at acting,
19:35and he wasn't doing that well.
19:37Who's next? Who's next? Who hasn't gone yet?
19:39Shoot.
19:40Thoughts of, you know, ending the competition
19:44had been running through my head.
19:46And, you know, I was about to get real emotional,
19:47so I would have made a fool of myself up there.
19:49Instead of staying with the class, I call my girlfriend.
19:54Hello?
19:54Yes.
19:56Yeah?
19:56If I have any doubts, I mean, I shouldn't keep myself in it, no?
20:00What?
20:02It's tough, you know?
20:03Like, I'm stuck. I don't know what to do.
20:06Right, but you've been in it for so long,
20:07and you've done so well.
20:09The possibility of becoming a superstar in the WWE
20:13and the 255 days a year on the road, it's a little scary.
20:20Do you think people would just be disappointed
20:21if I didn't go the whole route?
20:25If you're doing it for other people,
20:27then you're definitely doing it for their own reasons.
20:29Wrestling takes up so much of your life.
20:31It becomes very real.
20:33Do I love the ring work? I mean, you know, I like it.
20:36Yeah.
20:37I just don't know if I have what it takes.
20:39Well, it's not my time.
20:48In two weeks on Tough Enough...
20:49Is there gonna be a life beyond wrestling?
20:52Jonah is definitely having some doubts.
20:55I'll be damned if I'm gonna select someone
20:57that doesn't have this in his heart.
20:58This is a competition.
21:00We will make some cuts tomorrow.
21:02Bye.
21:11Bye.
21:12Bye.
