One passenger survives London-bound Air India plane crash at Ahmedabad

An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner bound for London crashed on takeoff at Ahmedabad airport in India. At least 242 passengers and crew members were on board, officials say, with one person surviving.

00:00An Air India plane bound for London's Gatwick Airport has crashed during take-off.
00:14The incident happened at India's Ahmedabad Airport on Tuesday.
00:18232 passengers and 12 crew members were on board.
00:23These included 169 Indian nationals, 53 British nationals, 1 Canadian and 7 Portuguese, according to the airline.
00:37India's Federal Health Minister said that, quote, many people were killed.
00:42The injured, meanwhile, are being taken to hospital.
00:46Authorities say that the Boeing 787-8 plane crashed in a civilian area near the airport
00:53and that at least 30 to 35 bodies had been recovered from a building at the crash site.
