House prosecutors: Sara impeach trial now with Senate

The prosecution team at the House of Representatives, led by Rep. Marcelino Libanan and Rep. Gerville Luistro, reiterates on June 11, 2025 that the impeachment trial is now with the Senate, despite its order to remand the articles of impeachment to the House. Another prosecutor, Rep. Romeo Acop, stressed that the proceedings were not a personal grudge against an individual but a way to extract accountability from public officers.
