Wales boss Craig Bellamy reflects on ‘best year of his life’

00:00Wales men's football manager Craig Bellamy has been reflecting on what he has described as the best year of his life

00:06as he has been in charge of the Wales national team.

00:10Wales defeated Liechtenstein 3-0 on Friday ahead of their clash against Belgium.

00:15This week's been top and it's been top since I've just loved every moment of it

00:19because they train, they work, they show up and have that is like amazing, you know what I mean?

00:26It's like I don't have to, that today weren't good enough, no we need to be sharper today, never once had to.

00:32So they give you energy, do you understand what I mean?

00:35It's like, and whatever will be, like it rolls on if we go past, but it's going to happen.

00:44Do I live in fear of it? Not at all, not at all. I don't live that way.

00:49This game is like, I think I've had so much setbacks in my life, it's okay.

00:55I'm still here. And I'm actually, I just had the best year of my life and, you know, it's like, this has been the best.

01:03How did I get that to 45? What have I been waiting for?

01:07But at the same time, it's like, I don't know what's on the corner.

01:11And following on from that victory against Liechtenstein, Ben Davies has made clear that Wales will be confident

01:18as they prepare for their game against Belgium on Monday evening.

01:22Wales know that a win could set them up nicely to qualify for the World Cup.

01:26Yeah, I feel like we've definitely played against each other a lot in the last few years, but it's always a tough game.

01:38You know, Belgium have got a lot of quality in their team and have always made it difficult for us.

01:43But like, we have to look at the past games we've played to take some confidence from it.

01:47But we know how big a task it is in front of us, but we have to face it head on.

01:52Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head there.

01:54They have a lot of very good individuals that on their day are playing at top, top level in world football.

02:03So, look, we know what we're up against.

02:06We know the individual qualities they have if we aren't on top of our game.

02:09But for us, we have to go out there with full confidence, hoping we can get the job done.
