00:00Wales women's player Rhiannon Roberts has revealed how the Wales squad are preparing ahead of the Women's European Championships this summer in Switzerland, in which Wales will face England as part of their group stage.
00:15Not really, not really. I think camp is so close. I feel like we're constantly here, if I'm honest.
00:21No, camp is so close. There's only a couple of weeks in between. We've got camps in between that, optional camps for players to come in for three days, one week, another three days the next week.
00:31So the girls are going to have lots of time on the ball. It's still going to be competitive in training. I'm sure we'll play an in-house game as well.
00:38So, yeah, we're quite fine about that, to be honest. We look after each other and we go into the Euros fighting fit.
00:47I've done a lot of defending. So, yeah, I've just set myself little targets each game and I'm sure that's what other players have been doing at their clubs as well.
00:56And like you said, I'm up against the best players in the world and what more can you ask for?
01:01Because you're going to be up against the best in the Euros campaign too.
01:05And, you know, when people say, oh, your group's a really, really tough group, we like it.
01:10And Wales men's football manager Craig Bellamy has made clear that the fixture for Wales against Liechtenstein is his first priority at present,
01:20despite Wales' next game being against Belgium in their World Cup qualifying group,
01:25a game which could be pivotal in seeing Wales qualify for the World Cup in Mexico, America and Canada.
01:31And like I said, like you said, really, the two games, yeah, I have to be honest, I look at the cycle of games.
01:40They're all important. Every cycle is. And this one is.
01:44But I have to be honest, like I was with Kazakhstan and North Macedonia, just excited with them, really.
01:54Liechtenstein is so important for us. So important for us.
01:59And it is one step at a time. And I know it's not ideal for everyone in this room.
02:03You'd love to talk about Belgium now straight away.
02:05But we do have Liechtenstein and Belgium will take care of itself. Liechtenstein is most important.
