00:00Joe Wright has become Bradford City's third permanent signing of the summer, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal, which will see him join the Bantams.
00:11Yeah, delighted. Once I heard of the interest, it was something that I was really excited for. So yeah, happy to get over the line.
00:20And to get you done so early in the summer must be really pleasing as well.
00:23Yeah, I knew about the interest for a while. I had a good meeting with the gaffer and Chris.
00:30So yeah, that went really positively. So to get it done so early, like you say, is a bonus.
00:35The sort of people you're looking forward to playing for then after that initial chat?
00:38Yeah, really good chat. They didn't really have to sell the club.
00:42But obviously on the back of the promotion last season, the momentum that that brings, it was something that I was really interested in.
00:49I guess seeing those things on the final day of the season must be something that you were really looking forward to being a part of when you heard of the interest.
00:56Yeah, I'm good friends with Brad Halliday, someone I've known all my career really, starting off at Accrington.
01:02So I've actually followed the club whilst he's been here. So I was delighted for him getting the promotion.
01:10And Bradford's second signing of the summer, Curtis Tilt, has made clear that he is wanting to play a big role at the club next season
01:19and wants to be part of something special at Bradford City going forwards under manager Graeme Alexander.
01:25First of all, it's just kind of down the days to get pre-season out of the way.
01:31And then as soon as the fixtures come out, you can start looking at who we're playing.
01:35And then hopefully the first home game will be something special.
01:39You've already played with Max Fowler before at Wigan, won this league title before.
01:41How much can you two use that experience in the dressing room this year?
01:45Massive. I think once you've won a league title, it becomes an addiction,
01:49which the lads will know here from winning and getting promoted last year.
01:55I've played with Max, he's relentless.
01:57He knows how to win a game of football and what it's like to be promoted.
02:00So we'll take all our knowledge and hopefully we can pass it on and be successful again.
02:06And on a personal level, over 150 games at this level, that brings a lot of experience to that back line especially.
02:11Yeah, definitely. I've played League One pretty much all my career.
