00:00I must find her.
00:02He's a lifeguard.
00:04Before he does.
00:10Ericsholm is a game set in kind of a fantasy version of the early 1900s
00:17and it has a Scandinavian theme style to it.
00:21I would describe it as a stealth puzzle game with a very strong emphasis on story
00:27where you play up to three playable characters that you switch between
00:31and they have their own special abilities that you need to use together
00:35to kind of solve situations and puzzles in a kind of interlaced way where everyone's involved.
00:42It's in this setting of a Scandinavian nature which not only resonates with me
00:48but with the rest of the world because it's so unique.
00:50It's always nice to see something new that people can relate to.
00:54So I've worked a lot with like lighting and 3D rendering, cinematic lighting, stuff like that.
00:58So Ander showed me a rendering of one of the movies.
01:00It just floored me. I thought it was so beautiful.
01:03Then he said, okay, so Tio, what I want from you is I want you to make this look even better.
01:07We play tested the game a lot and what people usually say is that
01:12it feels like I'm playing a movie but in a great way.
01:16River and Games was based on the idea that if you have the right mix of people
01:23then perhaps a really small team can still make something that's actually pretty cool.
01:30How is this made by 16 people?
01:33Like why is this quality so high?
01:36A little now and then I sit down in the couch and I just enjoy a fresh build.
01:40The story just gets to perform.
01:42You're just drawn right in.
01:44It's a magical feeling.
01:45I'm really excited for players to just discover this world.
01:50Eric's Home is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and Epic Games Store
01:55and we have an exclusive trailer that we're about to show you
01:59that will reveal the release date.
02:02I hope you enjoy.
02:15I hope you enjoy.
