00:00First of all, congratulations to Davy Russell, who's going to be a fantastic Labour MSP for
00:05Hamilton. But it's clear from what happened last July, the people of Scotland want to see change.
00:11They voted for Labour MPs to go to Westminster. They haven't had change in the Edinburgh Parliament
00:16or the Holyrood because the SNP is still in control there. And while the UK government
00:21has cut waiting lists in the NHS by over 200,000 people over the last year, in Scotland,
00:26one in every six Scots are languishing on waiting lists. People in Scotland need positive
00:32change. They'll have the chance to vote for that in the Scottish elections when they come
00:36next year. But last night, congratulations to Anas Sarwar, to Davy Russell and to the Labour
00:42team for winning this by-election. The Labour Party will take on whichever contenders want
00:48to contest the next general election. I think what we're seeing with reform and Nigel Farage
00:54is they're already starting to fall apart. They're fighting each other like ferrets in
00:57a sack. Nigel Farage can't even manage a group of five MPs. One of them has already been kicked
01:02out and gone independent. And yesterday, the chair of his party resigned. Now, this man claims
01:08he could run the country. He can't even run a party with enough MPs to fit in a phone box.
