02:37Je me suis demandé où tu veux aller, tu veux aller y aller et aller y aller?
03:22so many points.
03:23After such an amazing spell.
03:25Kind of this time last year.
03:27Do you think, now that that's all over,
03:30that you don't have any titles to defend now for the next 12 months,
03:33are you in some way looking forward to kind of a change of mindset
03:37and more being maybe the one that's chasing,
03:41the one that's pushing the others rather than having to defend ?
03:45Will that help you change a mindset, do you think ?
03:47I think I already changed my mindset before this tournament.
03:52Losing early in Rome gave me some time and perspective,
03:55so I wasn't really thinking about points here on this tournament.
04:02Obviously, looking at the math,
04:06I lost many points right now,
04:08but I know that it doesn't really matter.
04:11any of us can win these tournaments.
04:14We kind of start every tournament from the beginning,
04:16so I'm just going to try to do my job
04:18and focus on just getting progress
04:21and learning new stuff on grass right now.
04:25Hi, Iger.
04:26When you talk about the loss of intensity in the third set,
04:29is that physical intensity
04:31or kind of mental-emotional intensity ?
04:34And is it something you're aware of in the moment ?
04:37I think it's more physical,
04:40but, you know,
04:42no, I mean,
04:44it's not like I didn't have energy,
04:46but really, like,
04:48sometimes it's about, you know,
04:50if you're going to play your shots like really
04:5310 centimeters longer or shorter, you know,
04:56so it's not like it's just me, like,
05:00playing maybe, like, really 5% faster
05:02or with more spin, you know,
05:04so it's not like a huge difference,
05:07but at this level,
05:08when you play against the top players,
05:11you're going to feel the difference,
05:13and she came on pretty strongly in third set
05:16and, like, didn't, like, just went for it,
05:19and then the set, you know, went pretty quickly,
05:23and I think, you know,
05:25I didn't have much time to, like, reset that again,
05:29like I did, like, at the beginning of the second set,
05:31you know,
05:32so, you know, I came back from, like, what,
05:364-1 or 3-1 or 3-0 in first.
05:41Yeah, doing that second time for sure would be hard,
05:44but she played, like, she didn't, like, doubt, you know,
05:48she just went for it, and yeah,
05:51that's what I mean about intensity.
05:53I was going to ask something similar,
05:55just about the adjustments you made in the first set
05:57when she started doing well, as you said,
05:59in the third set was kind of starting the same way
06:01the first set started.
06:02Were those, was she making a different adjustment
06:04that you had to find a new solution for,
06:06or had you stopped making the same adjustments
06:08that were able to stop her momentum in the first set?
06:11Well, I think in first set,
06:13you know, it was enough for me to, like,
06:16start serving better, and,
06:18and also she, you know, missed some balls,
06:22and we also played some longer rallies
06:25where I could, you know, just play rather than,
06:28you know, react to the first ball,
06:30and that's it, that's the end of the rally, you know?
06:32And in third,
06:33I feel like my serve was still working.
06:36Maybe I just did it,
06:39maybe I served with, like,
06:42maybe I should have served with more, like, creativity,
06:45rather than the same stuff that has been working in second set.
06:48Maybe I should have, like, surprised with something.
06:51But I, I don't know now, like, I would need to watch.
06:55And then I'm just curious, you've had such a long winning streak here, 26 matches,
06:58I guess how, which is very rare anyone to do at any major event.
07:01Just wondering how proud you are of, just now that that, that run has ended,
07:06how proud you are looking back of what you were able to do here for a lot of years?
07:10Yeah, I mean, I love playing here.
07:13So, for sure, I'm happy that I was fortunate enough to, like, play so many great tournaments here.
07:22And even this one, you know, I feel like I played better than weeks before.
07:27So, for sure, you know, just happy that I have this place to come back to every year and just try to push myself.
07:37Hi, Higa. Here. Hi. Sorry for you.
07:40From the beginning of the season, you didn't made it to a final.
07:44Do you think it's a question of confidence or that your opponents are getting better and better?
07:48Maybe. I don't know. Thank you.
07:50Honestly, we play for, like, six months now, so I can't answer that question because every tournament is different.
07:58Any last question?
08:01Yeah. Can you talk about the discussion with the umpire?
08:05Was that a distraction for you? Were you upset by something the umpire said during that exchange?
08:12He was coming down to check every mark when Arena wanted to, even when the outs were like that.
08:19And when I had a mark that was out, he was convincing me that I only came there because I saw that my return was out.
08:27And I framed the return. I knew from the beginning that it's going to be out, you know.
08:32And I didn't really look at the ball. I just went to check the mark, and I saw the mark was out.
08:37I wanted him to come down, but he didn't. So I don't think that was fair.
08:41Especially when he came down, like, every time Arena asked him to.
08:45I don't get it, but I don't really care.
08:48Thank you.
08:49Thank you.
08:50Thank you.
