00:00What is happening? Hi!

00:02Meow!

00:03So I literally walked two and a half miles home

00:05with this little kitten riding on my shoulder.

00:09Got a lot of weird looks from people driving by.

00:13I have a four-year-old Corrie named Tyrion.

00:15He has chased every cat that he has interacted with.

00:19And so I just thought,

00:20he is going to completely terrorize this cat.

00:22There's no way that I can keep this cat.

00:25I felt like I owed him at least trying to introduce him to Tyrion.

00:30I was Googling things on the internet.

00:32How do I introduce a cat to my dog?

00:35I came up with this whole plan.

00:37I had Gritty with the door closed

00:39just so Tyrion could hear him and smell him.

00:43After a couple days, we graduated to the baby gate.

00:47And then I read online that you should try and associate the cat

00:50with things that the dog likes.

00:53She's like licking the spoon of peanut butter

00:55while he's staring at Gritty.

00:57One day, I was just sitting on the couch with Tyrion

01:00and Gritty realized he could get under the baby gate.

01:03So he just kind of sauntered out into the living room.

01:07They were both very unsure of each other.

01:11Tyrion tried to do a little bit of a chase with Gritty,

01:14but Gritty stood his ground.

01:16She was like, why is this cat not running away from me?

01:19For me, they got a little bit closer to each other,

01:23trying to sniff each other.

01:25Hi Tyrion.

01:27Are you concerned about the cat?

01:33From there, it really escalated really quickly.

01:36I was totally shocked.

01:44This was beyond what I could have ever hoped for.

01:47They have a sibling relationship.

01:49They chase each other around,

01:51but then they love to cuddle with each other.

01:54We had this bond.

02:01It felt like it was meant to be.

02:03And I'm just so happy that it worked out.

02:06And it worked out better than I could have ever imagined.
