00:10I want to set a color depending on the stock status of each product.
00:14I have three options.
00:16Low stock, high stock, and no stock.
00:18I want to apply the color green, yellow, or red depending on the amount of stock.
00:23To apply it in the easiest way, select the entire range of cells to which you want to apply the color based on the text value.
00:32On the home tab, let's go to conditional formatting and use these rule options to highlight cells.
00:38Since it's text, we'll use the text contains function.
00:42You select it, and it automatically places the first text that says low stock.
00:49For low stock, I want to apply an orange or yellow color.

00:56As you can see, you have several options.

02:01So I select the entire range of cells to which I want to apply the conditional formatting, home tab, conditional formatting, rules to highlight cells.

02:12Is greater than and is less than.
02:14When the stock is greater than 9, that is, 10 or greater, I want it to apply a green color.
02:21So I will use is greater than the format, I will apply it to cells greater than 9, which does not include 9, but from 10 onwards.
02:29And here I choose any of the formats or I use a custom format.
02:36I'm going to use the green fill with dark green text.
02:40I accept and I already have a format applied.
02:42Again, with the cells selected, let's go to conditional formatting, rules to highlight cells.
02:49And now I'm going to use is less than when it's less than 10, which does not include 10.
02:55In that case I wanted to use a yellow fill which would be this.
02:58I accept and I have it.
03:02And finally, I wanted to apply a red fill when it's 0.
03:08So with the cells selected we go to conditional formatting and when it's equal to 0 I want the fill to be red.
