During Tuesday’s White House press briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt answered questions about President Trump's Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias Task Force.

00:00Kelly.
00:01The President, Caroline, thank you.
00:02I want to get back to the anti-Semitic behavior that's
00:04been going on on college campuses as well as recently
00:07in Boulder, Colorado.
00:09The President, as you know, has the White House Faith Office,
00:12the Religious Liberty Commission, as well as the
00:14Anti-Task Force on Anti-Christian Bias,
00:17which includes anti-Semitism.
00:19From a whole-of-government perspective,
00:21and the President has already mentioned how he hates these
00:24kinds of acts that have been going on,
00:26can these entities and these agencies work together with
00:29the President put out a proactive campaign to help
00:33people stop the hate?
00:35I think the President himself has been leading on this,
00:38Kelly, and has been incredibly clear in his rhetoric that
00:41he is not going to tolerate such hate or behavior in the
00:44United States of America.
00:46And you will see that rhetoric being followed up by action
00:49from the Department of Justice, who is seeking to
00:52prosecute these cases to the fullest extent of the law.
00:55And I know the Attorney General and the FBI Director were
00:58very quick to call this what it was, targeted terrorism.
01:01And there was some, I think, criticism from the media and
01:04at least pundits I saw on television saying,
01:07are they too quick to jump here?
01:08No.
01:09They see the facts and they reveal those to the American people
01:13and they're transparent.
01:14And I think, frankly, that's a breath of fresh air from what
01:16we experienced in the previous administration.
01:18Are there programs that they can put in place to campaign
01:22against this kind of violence to actually take the whole
01:26approach and say, we want to get ahead of you.
01:28If you're thinking it, don't do it.
01:30And if you're going to do it, sit down and talk to someone
01:34within the faith office, within the Religious Liberty
01:37Commission, as well as the task force.
01:39Yeah, surely.
01:40It's a good idea and I'll pass it along to them.
