Nehemiah, the sixteenth book of the Bible, tells the inspiring story of rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls and restoring the faith of God’s people after the Babylonian exile. Despite fierce opposition from enemies like Sanballat and Tobiah, Nehemiah organizes the people, and in just 52 days, the walls are completed—a testament to God’s provision and the power of determined faith.
Beyond physical restoration, Nehemiah focuses on spiritual renewal. With the help of Ezra the scribe, the people gather to hear the Law of Moses, leading to repentance, covenant renewal, and a commitment to obey God’s commands.
