China has introduced a special multiple-entry ASEAN visa for business travelers, their spouses, and children from 10 ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste.

00:00China has rolled out a special multiple-entry visa for 10 ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste.
00:06Eligible travelers from the 11 nations visiting China on business,
00:10along with their spouses and children, will be offered the ASEAN visa.
00:15It will allow multiple entries over the span of five years, with each stay lasting up to 180 days.
00:22China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said the new scheme aims to further facilitate
00:27cross-border travel between China and Southeast Asia.
00:31The new visa comes on top of existing visa-free agreements that China already has with several
00:38countries, including Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
00:42Travelers from the three countries currently enjoy mutual visa-free travel arrangements for up to 30 days.
