Doda (J&K), June 04, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on ‘Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’, Jammu Director Agriculture Arvinder Singh Reen on June 04 said that benefit is that farmers did not need to approach every department, all departments - be it agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, sheep, fishery are present here. “Government of India is running a 'Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan' across the country...The program started on 29th May and will continue till 12th June. Under this, we have arrived in Bhalra village of Doda district. The benefit of this is that farmers did not need to approach every department, all departments - be it agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, sheep, fishery are present here. They told the farmers details of all their schemes and departments...Such programs are ongoing across India, similarly it is ongoing in all 10 districts of Jammu division. So, this is an awareness program for farmers...Farmers heard us carefully. We urged them that to implement in their home and farms the things they learnt here, that they inform other farmers who are not present here about the same...,” said Arvinder Singh Reen.
