00:00Today we're going to learn how to crochet
00:02these two adorable bunnies.
00:05This one is the strawberry bunny wearing a strawberry hood
00:10and this is the carrot bunny with a carrot hood.
00:14The hoods are removable.
00:19Here's what they look like when taken off.
00:23Let's start by crocheting the bunny's head.
00:26We're using a three millimeter crochet hook.
00:30First, take out the white yarn
00:32to learn the magic ring technique.
00:36Pinch this end of the yarn,
00:38let your left palm to face to you.
00:42Wrap the yarn around your left little finger,
00:44pass it through between middle finger and index finger.
00:48Then pinch the yarn tail with thumb and middle finger.
00:53This is the basic crochet position.
00:56Then pick up the yarn tail
00:58and wrap it once around your middle finger.
01:01Now hold onto that intersection point with your thumb.
01:05Then use your right hand to pull the right edge
01:08of this loop off of your middle finger.
01:11Hold the crochet hook in your right hand
01:13as you would a pen.
01:15Put hook in this loop from the front to the back.
01:18Rotate your hook so that the tip of the hook
01:20is facing away from you.
01:22Grab onto this working yarn,
01:24pull the yarn back through the loop.
01:28And then yarn over, pull the yarn through the loop.
01:35This is the chain stitch
01:36and the magic ring is now completed.
01:39Now you can put your middle finger,
01:41press the intersection point and rearrange your hand
01:44so that you're holding onto the bottom of the circle.
01:47Now we need to make six single crochet stitches
01:50into this magic ring.
01:51Let me show you how to make a single crochet.
01:56Put your hook inside this loop,
01:58place the hook under the yarn,
02:00grab the working yarn,
02:02pull the yarn back through the loop.
02:05There are two loops on the hook.
02:08Yarn over again and pull this yarn
02:10through both two loops on the hook.
02:13Now you have made the first single crochet stitch
02:16in this magic ring.
02:18We need to place a marker on the first stitch.
02:22First remove the hook to observe.
02:27Under this large loop,
02:29there is a V-shape formed by stitches,
02:32which indicates the first stitch.
02:35Take a stitch marker
02:37and insert it under this V-shape.
02:39The marker will help us quickly locate
02:44the first stitch's position.
02:50Reinsert the hook into the loop,
02:52use your index finger to tension the yarn
02:54and tighten the loop.
02:57Now we'll continue working single crochet.
03:00Now you have to make the remaining five stitches.
03:03Insert your hook in exactly the same spot.
03:06Yarn over, pull yarn through the hole
03:08to draw up a loop.
03:10Yarn over, pull that yarn through both loops in the hook.
03:14This is the second single crochet.
03:16Repeat the same steps
03:18to continue working single crochet stitches.
03:22Three.
03:28Fourth.
03:34Five.
03:38Six.
03:39Expand the loop and remove the hook.
03:43Let's count the stitches.
03:44One V represents one stitch.
03:45Start counting downward from the V-shape stitch
03:46beneath a large loop.
03:47One, two, three, fourth, five, six.
03:48After making six single crochet,
03:49pull the yarn tail to close it.
03:50One, two, three, fourth, five, six.
03:51After making six single crochet,
03:52pull the yarn tail to close it.
03:53One, two, three, fourth, five, six.
03:55To mark a stitch with the slip stitch
03:57and make three, four, four, four, five, seven women.
04:03Next, we need to make a slip stitch
04:04at the first stitch marked by the stitch marker
04:06to connect the beginning and end.
04:07Once you set up through each stitch as you
04:08split the stitch at the second crochet,
04:10the trim part where you raise the hook
04:10thread into the crochet hook,
04:11then bring the knot and divide the coin itself off.
04:13Next, we need to make a slip stitch at the first stitch marked by the stitch marker to
04:20connect the beginning and end.
04:28Insert the crochet hook back into the loop.
04:31Locate the position marked by the stitch marker.
04:34This is where we need to insert the hook.
04:37Remove the stitch marker.
04:40Insert your hook into the previously marked position, passing under both loops of the
04:45V stitch.
04:46To make the slip stitch, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook in one motion.
04:56After completing the slip stitch, make sure to tighten it.
04:59Otherwise, the slip stitch may be mistaken for a single crochet stitch.
05:04Use your middle finger to press against the loop on the hook.
05:08Lift the crochet hook upward and tighten the slip stitch.
05:16And now we have just finished round one of the bunny's head.
05:20Now we are at round two.
05:22In this round, we need to make an increase stitches in each single crochet.
05:27Since the entire amigurumi is worked in slip stitches, we need to crochet one chain stitch
05:33as the turning chain at the beginning of each round.
05:37So chain one.
05:39Locate the first stitch, the same stitch where you worked the slip stitch.
05:44Put your hook into this stitch.
05:46Now the hook is under the V with two strands.
05:50Work one single crochet and mark it with a stitch marker.
06:05Since we need to create an increase, work another single crochet into the same stitch.
06:10This means you'll work two single crochets in the same stitch.
06:13This is called a single crochet increase.
06:16So put your hook in the same hole.
06:23Yarn over and pull through.
06:27Yarn over and pull through again.
06:29Now we made the second single crochet and we made two single crochet in the same hole.
06:34In this round, we have to make an increase into all the stitches for a total of six.
06:42Next stitch.
06:47One single crochet first.
06:50So put your hook in the same hole.
06:53Work one single crochet again.
06:57Next stitch.
07:00One single crochet.
07:03One single crochet again.
07:06Repeat this step to finish this round.
07:09And there will be a total of 12 stitches in this round.
07:27After finish six increase, work a slip stitch into the first stitch.
07:33Remove the stitch marker.
07:36Insert your hook into the previously marked position.
07:40To make the slip stitch, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook in one motion.
07:47Use your middle finger to press against the loop on the hook.
07:51Lift the crochet hook upward and tighten the slip stitch.
07:54And now we have just finished round two.
07:57Next we will work on round three.
07:59The pattern for round three is one single crochet, one increase, repeat six times.
08:06As before, start by chaining one.
08:09Insert your hook into the first stitch.
08:11The same stitch where you made the slip stitch from the previous round.
08:15And work one single crochet.
08:18And work one single crochet.
08:19Mark the first stitch.
08:24Find the next V.
08:26Make one increase.
08:29That means work two single crochet in the same stitch.
08:37One single crochet, one increase.
08:40This is one sequence.
08:42Repeat one single crochet, one increase to the end of this round.
08:47And there will be eighteen stitches in this round.
08:50Next stitch.
08:51One single crochet.
08:55One increase.
09:03Next stitch.
09:04One single crochet.
09:09One increase.
09:15Repeat this step to finish this round.
09:34Work a slip stitch in the first stitch.
09:39Remove stitch marker.
09:42Start the hook.
09:46Yarn over and pull through all loops.
09:51Tighten the slip stitch.
09:54Now let's learn how to count rounds.
09:57First loosen the loop and remove the hook.
10:01This is the first round of the magic ring, followed by the second round, and the outermost
10:06layer is the third round.
10:09So far we've completed three rounds.
10:12Next we'll work on the fourth round.
10:14The pattern for round four is one single crochet, one increase, one single crochet.
10:20Repeat this sequence six times.
10:22After finishing this round, the total number of stitches will be 24 stitches.
10:27Reinsert the hook into the loop.
10:30Chain one as a turning chain.
10:35Work one single crochet in the first stitch.
10:40Then mark the first stitch with a stitch marker.
10:44Always mark the first stitch of each round to easily locate its position.
10:49Next, work a single crochet increase, two single crochets in the same stitch.
10:59In the next stitch, work one single crochet.
11:03Now you've completed a sequence of one single crochet, one increase, and one single crochet,
11:10totaling four stitches per group.
11:12Repeat this pattern six times.
11:14One single crochet.
11:18One increase.
11:19After completing this round, there should be 24 stitches in total.
11:49To count the stitches, look at the V shapes along the edge.
12:12Each V represents one stitch.
12:15Count backward along the rounds.
12:18It's recommended to check the stitch count after finishing each row to ensure accuracy.
12:25Work a slip stitch in the first stitch.
12:27Now we have finished round four.
12:30Next is round five.
12:34In this round we need to repeat the sequence.
12:37Three single crochet, one increase, a total of six times.
12:40chain one.
12:43Work one single crochet in the first stitch.
12:52Mark it.

13:10Then work two single crochet.
13:14Next stitch.
13:15Next stitch.
