00:00If Russia turns the Istanbul meeting into an empty talk, there must be a new level of pressure, new sanctions, and not just from Europe.

00:10We need to work on joint sanctions at the G7 level, including with the United States and with everyone in the world who wants peace.

00:19It's very, very important.

00:22Sanctions against Russia are necessary.

00:25It's important to seriously limit Russia's oil trade and its use of tankers.

00:31Sanctions, including secondary ones, tariffs, and rice caps, can work and push Russia toward peace.

00:39Lithuania is a staunch ally and continues to lead by example.

00:44You invest more than 4% of GDP in events this year, and I welcome your plans to spend between 5% and 6% starting from next year.

00:54So we must continue to strengthen our deterrents and events.

00:58And that means pivoting towards a full warfighting readiness, providing significantly more forces that are well trained, well equipped, and supported with logistics, sustainment, and ammunition.
