00:00Thank you.
00:12Those seem to be the hardest words to say when one is in tears and in pain.
00:19Still, only those words are able to encapsulate the sentiments of all of us gathered here today
00:28in memory of the irreplaceable Tony Mooses.
00:32If God had decreed it, Tony would have been someone else's son,
00:37someone else's brother, someone else's friend, and someone else's husband.
00:43However, in this wide universe full of infinite possibilities, God made him ours.
00:51God made him ours, so there's much to celebrate today.
00:56Tony Mooses wore his unpredictable and transparent nature with great pride.
01:03Did anyone else have a good chuckle at his jokes on the very day you met?
01:07Did anyone else howl with laughter and cry nostalgically alongside him?
01:13In the same sitting?
01:14It is quite apparent that Tony's soul was unlike anyone else's.
01:18Along with his countless projects, his signature cigar, and wide smile that made his eyes crinkle,
01:27one of the things that set Tony apart was his opinionated character.
01:32Whether you agreed with him or not, you could count on the fact that you were conversing with an authentic man.
01:39The same man who would tell you where you could find the best eggplant on the market,
01:43or explain the financial strategy that took him years to understand, catering to your needs.
01:51Perhaps Tony's greatest gift to us was teaching us that hearts are intended to be used for much more than beating.
01:59Because if there's one thing we can be certain of, it's that there was not a single thing that Tony did without passion.
02:08His sailboat is the best example of this.
02:11Whether planning to remodel or diving into hour-long online searches for a single missing piece,
02:19it was as great of an adventure to him as sailing itself.
02:22For 69 years, Tony sailed through many serene waters.
02:29However, every time an untimely and inevitable storm clouded the horizon,
02:35he faced them with the same drive and bravery we so admired him for.
02:41His last storm manifested as illness.
02:44But the way he powered through it didn't only make us feel incredibly proud of his perseverance,
02:50but also profoundly blessed to have had the opportunity to have been a part of his crew.
02:58Thanks be to God for Tony.
03:02Thank you for existing, Tony.
03:10Bon voyage, Captain.
03:20Bon voyage, Captain.
