00:00Since that election, I've been doing a lot of thinking and a lot of traveling.
00:04I spent a lot of time on the road.
00:06I was in Wheeling, West Virginia, Omaha, Nebraska, Youngstown, Ohio, Fort Bend, Texas.
00:13I know you're all thinking it.
00:15Wow, those are strong Democratic strongholds, each and every one of those.
00:20But I went to those places, because those are places with Republican members of Congress
00:24in states that voted for Donald Trump.
00:27And I went there to listen to folks.
00:30And I want to tell you, they are really pissed off about what's going on in Washington.
00:38Recently, it's been the talk about the big, beautiful bill.
00:44I used to teach fourth grade, and I was going to say it sounds like a fourth grader came up with it,
00:50but that would be insulting to my fourth graders.
00:53It did not.
00:53Trump and Republicans are trying to ram this monstrosity through Congress
01:00before any of us figure out what's really in it.
01:03Well, you know what's in it.
01:05A record-setting shift of wealth to the rich from all the rest of us.
01:10If you're a young couple raising a child with a disability, getting your health care through
01:17Medicaid, you could be one of 15 million that are going to lose your health care.
01:24If you're a single mom working, relying on SNAP, this bill would kick you and your kids off
01:30and nearly 11 million of our fellow Americans off this vital lifeline.
01:34If you're a young guy holding down a job making solar panels like we're doing in Minnesota,
01:40your gig could be one of the 700,000 jobs that this bill will kill alone.
01:46So while working people get the shaft, who benefits from this bill?
01:50I don't know if any of you.
01:51There may be one.
01:53We'll see if somebody in here.
01:54If you make $4 million a year, if you make $4 million a year, you get a $400,000 tax break.
02:01And if you and your spouse are worth over $30 million, you get to pass that wealth down
02:08to your NEPO children tax-free.
02:12But if you make less than $50,000 a year, the best you're going to get out of this is about
02:17$300.
02:19Less than a decent set of tires will buy.
02:23But it is a little something, I'll give you that.
02:25But it won't make up for what you're going to lose in having to pay to go to the doctor's
02:29office or the grocery store.
02:32So to put it plainly, the rich are going to feast and the rest of us will be lucky if
02:36we get scraps.
02:3913 million kids will be kicked off free school lunch.
02:43Those kids get to go to school hungry.
02:46And all but two Republicans voted for this big, beautiful pile of bullshit.

02:54You know when they voted for it?
02:59Right before 3 a.m.
03:03Every heist needs the color of darkness to get through, as you all know.
03:07But when Trump and the Republicans aren't sacrificing our livelihoods at the altar of massive tax
03:13cuts for the rich, they're finding plenty of other ways to screw us over and make life
03:17hell.
03:18You talk to my mom or roughly one in five South Carolinians who rely on Social Security as their
03:25major retirement income.
03:27They're terrified.
03:28You've got some 19-year-old doge dweeb rooting around in government systems, mainlining four
03:35locos, and messing everything up.
03:37If they flip a wrong switch, my mom, your relatives, people that depend on Social Security, they
03:45don't get a paycheck, which means they don't get to pay for the heat in their home or their
03:48groceries.
