Transcript
00:00President Biden, how are you feeling?
00:14I'm feeling good.
00:16You look good.
00:17The process is good.
00:19We're working on everything.
00:21It's moving along.
00:22I feel good.
00:24Have you decided on your treatment options?
00:26Yeah, we have.
00:27And we're under way, and everybody's, all the folks are very optimistic.
00:33And so you've started treatment?
00:34Oh, yeah.
00:35Okay.
00:35Would you be willing to share what exactly that entails?
00:39Yeah, it's all a matter of taking a pill, one particular pill.
00:44And for the next six weeks, we'll be in another room.
00:47Our expectation is we're going to be able to eat this.
00:50There's no, it's not in any organ.
00:53My bones are strong.
00:54I'm benefiting, so I'm feeling good.
00:56Sir, why was it important, Tom?
00:58I feel like everybody expects you.
00:59I've done it all because I'm loyal.
01:01I do it every day in the air.
01:03I'm very beginning.
01:04I never forget my kids.
01:06I feel like everybody didn't know what to expect of you today.
01:09And then you get here, and you're speaking powerfully.
01:11You look good.
01:12You're confident.
01:13What do you say to all those people?
01:14Don't count you out.
01:15Well, I've seen lots of luck on the scene in the year.
01:22What has this been like for your family?
01:24Obviously, this is also an emotional time.
01:26This is the 10-year anniversary of your son, Beau's passing.
01:30You received this diagnosis just two weeks before that.
01:32Well, we're all optimistic about the diagnosis.
01:36Matter of fact, the leading surgeons in the world work with me.
01:41And he had a diagnosis the same exact thing 32 years ago.
01:45He's alive and well and doing very well.
01:47So we're optimistic.
01:48We're optimistic.
01:49And there's also been a lot of discussion recently about your mental and physical capabilities
01:55while you were in office.
01:56You can see that.
01:57I'm mentally incompetent.
01:59I can't walk.
02:00You might be beat the hell out of both of them.
02:02Do you want to reply to any of those reports?
02:05And also to the fact that there are some Democrats who are now questioning
02:08whether you should have run for re-election as a person?
02:11Why didn't you run against me then?
02:14I'm going to beat me.
02:16Do you have any regrets?
02:17No, I don't.
02:18Look, we have a lot going on.
02:23And I think we're in a really difficult moment, not only in America, but in the world.
02:31I think they're one of those reflection points in history.
02:34And the decisions we make in the next little body of the general things look like in the next 20 years.
02:39We're talking about the wrong thing.
02:42And I'm very proud.
02:44I put my record as president against any president at all.
02:48And you'll notice in 12 to 10, I believe because it's historians, they read pretty good on that list.
02:55And it's the guy I ran against, they read him last.
02:58So we'll see.
03:00So you had your grandson.
03:03What was it mean to have your family?
03:04Well, look.
03:05Well, I just put my son, Bo's son.
03:09And both started coming here with me about the same age.
03:16And so it's, you know, he wanted to be where his dad has been and what he's doing.
03:22He just graduated from high school and gone off to college in the fall.
03:25And I'm really proud of him.
03:27He was the son of his father.
03:31Do you have anything to say to the press secretary about who went after your wife yesterday at the briefing?
03:41I don't know who the press secretary is.
03:45Thank you, sir.
