Police have completed their investigation into a viral video that captured a man assaulting a woman in an office at Taman Kota Masai, Pasir Gudang.

Seri Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Sohaimi Ishak said the report was lodged by a 34-year-old woman at 5.53pm on May 15.

00:00Police have completed their investigation into a viral video that captured a man assaulting a woman in an office at Taman Kota Masai, Pasir Gudang.
00:09Seri Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Sohaimi Ishaq, said the report was lodged by a 34-year-old woman at 5.53 p.m. on May 15.
00:20According to her statement, the incident occurred earlier that day at around 1.05 p.m. inside an office located in Taman Kota Masai.
00:31The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for Voluntarily Causing Hurt.
00:38Investigation papers have been submitted to the Johor State Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action.
00:44ACP Mohamed Sohaimi also urged the public not to speculate or spread false information about the case.
