00:00Look up, look down, look all around, up in the air or on the ground.
00:14Come for a walk, come for a ride, there's so much to see, so come outside.
00:24Some of us live in the river, some of us live in the sea, some live in ponds or aquariums.
00:40What do you think we could be? We're fish.
00:45Come along, fish, it's feeding time.
00:56Hello, me dears. You haven't met my goldfish, have you?
01:01I've got one, two, three, four, five of them.
01:11Come on, eat up.
01:27Who's that?
01:29Oh, it's you. Be off with you. Go on. Shoo.
01:35Go on. Go on. Shoo.
01:38I think he was after my goldfish.
01:44Cats like to eat goldfish.
01:47That reminds me. What can we have for lunch today?
01:54Oh, yes.
01:57Sausages. Pippin's favourites.
02:03Where is Pippin?
02:05Oh, there she is.
02:08She looks as though she's fishing.
02:20Pippin, are you trying to catch some fish?
02:24Oh, it's your ball.
02:26I was going to say, you won't find any fish in there.
02:37But I know where there are some.
02:40Pippin, it's time to fly.
02:41Pippin' play.

04:59Because he bit my finger so
05:02Which finger did he bite

06:04Fish are covered in lots of scales
06:27And they breathe by taking in water through their mouth
06:36And it comes out here at these openings called gills
06:43So they can only breathe in water
06:49Shall we put it back now?
06:52Yes, let me pop it back
06:53Fish have no eyelids
07:22So their eyes are always open
07:24Even when they're asleep
07:26They move their tail from side to side
07:36And that's how they swim through the water
07:39Some fish swim around on their own
07:49Others like to stay close together
07:57I'm glad that cat isn't here
08:08Oh dear
08:09She'd want to catch all these fish
08:11I'm glad that cat is here
08:13I'm glad that cat is here

08:15I'm glad that cat is here

08:18I'm glad that cat is here
08:19I'm glad that cat is here
08:20I'm glad that cat is here
08:21I'm glad that cat is here
08:22I'm glad that cat is here
08:23I'm glad that cat is here
08:24I'm glad that cat is here
08:25I'm glad that cat is here
08:26I'm glad that cat is here

08:30I'm glad that cat is here
08:31I'm glad that cat is here
08:32I'm glad that cat is here
08:33I'm glad that cat is here
08:34Can you see some more fish, Pippin?
08:47Oh, yes!
08:49Lots of fish.
08:55I know a story about a fish.
08:58His name is Bernard.
09:03Bernard was a stickleback.
09:04Who lived in the river with his brothers and sisters.
09:09Every day they all huddled together.
09:13All that is except for Bernard.
09:15He wanted to explore.
09:17So off he swam down the river.
09:21Soon he found a tasty insect.
09:24And he gobbled it up.
09:27Then suddenly through the murky water.
09:30Came the biggest fish Bernard had ever seen.
09:33It came closer and closer, opened its mouth wide, and Bernard swished his tail and swam away as fast as he could back to the other sticklebacks.
09:46He told them what had happened.
09:48And so they were careful to keep away from the big fish.
09:52One day, Bernard decided to explore again, and off he swam up the river.
10:00He had just found another tasty insect to eat when suddenly he was flying up and out of the water.
10:08A fisherman had caught him in his net.
10:11But the fisherman wasn't interested in the little stickleback, and he put Bernard swam away as fast as he could, back to the other sticklebacks.
10:25He told them what had happened, and so they were careful to keep away from fishing nets.
10:32Bernard looked after his brothers and sisters, and they all lived happily in the river.
10:37One day, Bernard swam up the river again, and this time, he didn't come back.
10:47The other sticklebacks huddled together and wondered if Bernard had been caught by the big fish.
10:55Or had he been caught by the fisherman?
10:58They decided to be brave and look for Bernard.
11:01So, huddled together, they swam up the river.
11:08Suddenly they saw him.
11:10His tummy had turned red, and he was building a nest.
11:15Then he started doing a funny zigzag dance.
11:21A female stickleback swam to the nest and laid some eggs in it.
11:27Then she swam away.
11:28Bernard guarded the eggs until one day, they hatched into baby sticklebacks.
11:39Bernard looked after them until they were old enough to look after themselves.
11:44Let's hope one of them turned out to be as clever as Bernard.
11:49And now you know all about fish.
12:08There's that cat again.
12:11And it's got something in its mouth.
12:13One, two, three, four, five.
12:38Oh, thank goodness, they're all there, safe and sound.
12:50So what was the cat after then?
12:57Oh, our sausages.
13:03Oh, Pippin, you rescued a sausage.
13:14Well, in that case, I think you should eat it.
13:17That was sort of thing.
13:20It's so nice.
13:23Yeah, you should eat it.
13:32Yeah.
