00:01And so we are up and on to wait in Asuncion, Paraguay.
00:06Libertad against Allianz Salima in Group D in the Combo Libertadores.
00:11The final round of group stage fixtures this week.
00:14Libertad guaranteed a place in the last 16 of South America's grandest club competition.
00:22Allianz Salima are fighting it out for third spot in the group.
00:28And because Sao Paulo lead against Teixeiras de Córdoba in the other game in this group,
00:34early effort on goal just trickles wide of the upright,
00:37it does mean that Allianz Salima will believe.
00:41I mean, certainly if the scores remain as they are now,
00:44Allianz Salima would have the point to take them to five points.
00:47Teixeiras would be on four.
00:50Best bet, really, to find a way.
00:58Take the ball into the area and put it under the goalkeeper.
01:07Caused a few problems.
01:11The anticipation.
01:13Passed out for the strike of goal which is faded over the crossbar.
01:18Get Okadi once again.
01:25Okadi's initial ball forward was a good one.
01:27That's for Kevedo.
01:29The left fly.
01:31He wants a corner.
01:32He's not going to get it for that.
01:33He couldn't resist it, could it?
01:42He couldn't resist the temptation to have a ping from that range.
01:46So you can understand why.
01:57It's a lovely ball play forward.
01:59And here is an opportunity for Kevedo.
02:01Need some support now.
02:02Guerrero might be the option.
02:04Guerrero.
02:05Quevedo.
02:06Guerrero.
02:07Quevedo.
02:08And in the end, Libertar.
02:09Just our bodies back there to alleviate the danger.
02:12See the dovetailing.
02:14It's really neat and tidy, isn't it?
02:16Between...
02:17Corner kick.
02:18Swept into a crowded penalty area.
02:21Guerrero!
02:22There's the goal.
02:23And of course it's the veteran.
02:27The 41-year-old Paolo Guerrero.
02:31With a captain's goal.
02:33And a vital one.
02:35In Alianza Lima's hopes of finishing third in Group D.
02:39And in the lashing rain in Asuncion.
02:42The Peruvians have a big, big moment.
02:45A lot of goals in his career.
02:53But this one's a meaningful one.
02:55It really is.
02:56It's a little arm in the back from Guerrero.
02:59That is what the Libertar players are saying.
03:01But I don't think this one's going to be chalked off.
03:03That's just physicality.
03:04That's just experience.
03:06That's just being in your fourth decade.
03:11Knows what he's doing, Guerrero.
03:13Little touch away from his man.
03:16And there like the poacher he is.
03:19Eyes on the prize.
03:21Slots it home.
03:22Libertar nil.
03:23Alianza Lima one.
03:29Big goal.
03:30Big, big goal.
03:32For the Peruvians.
03:34A place to work with now.
03:35Alianza Lima streaming forwards.
03:36They've won another one too.
03:37The goal is a good one.
03:38And there is the second.
03:39And the Peruvians are cruising now.
03:40It's another massive goal.
03:41But a space to work with now.
03:43Allianz Salima streaming forwards, they've won another one too.
03:46Goal is a good one, and there is the second.
03:50And the Peruvians are cruising now.
03:53It's another massive goal.
03:55And this time Castillo bags it.
03:59And on a night they needed a big result.
04:02Allianz Salima have a two-goal lead away Libertades.
04:11And did the goalkeeper with the eyes, I think.
04:17Of the first half.
04:20Possing towards the back post.
04:23Well, it's a penalty.
04:25Referee's given a penalty.
04:27And the colour of the card is yellow.
04:30And in the last 30 seconds of the first half, a penalty's been awarded.
04:38That arm is certainly up, isn't it?
04:41There.
04:48Wow, I mean.
04:53One of those.
04:55One of those.
04:56One of those.
05:01So, Oscar Cardoso.
05:05Four Libertades.
05:07The rain continues to come down.
05:16Oscar Cardoso.
05:18Against Vizcara.
05:19Here it is.
05:20Oscar Cardoso.
05:21Rolls it home.
05:22And becomes the third oldest goalscorer in the history of the Comovor Libertadores.
05:36The 42-year-old gets Libertades back in the game.
05:41But the coolness and the calmness.
05:46That experience brings.
05:49Double step.
05:50Rolls it home.
05:51Libertades one.
05:52Allianz Salima two.
05:53Eyes on the goalkeeper.
05:54Little hop.
05:55Skip.
05:56A jump.
05:57Rolls back the year.
05:58Well, only two players now.
05:59In the history of the Comovor Libertadores.
06:00Which started, of course, back in 1960.
06:01Have been older than him.
06:02With Innocentio Paraguay.
06:03Of course, we did have that half an hour delay because of the rain.
06:05Half an hour behind schedule.
06:06And all up and underway at the start of the second half.
06:07Allianz Salima two-one to the good.
06:08Away against Libertades.
06:31against Libertad
06:42the case is the referee I think if I be a head injury so stop the game here you
06:51know when that game is finished in the 95th minute there as the cross comes in
06:55towards Oscar Cardoso my drop the effort on goal deflection to a piece and now
07:02we've got a real game on our hands Ramirez with the effort took a big nick
07:07on his way through and from 2-0 down Libertad are back on level terms at two
07:12apiece
07:15and all of a sudden this has possible permutations in terms of Alianza
07:27Lima's third place finish in the group well it's a big deflection isn't it from
07:32Garcés but if you don't buy a ticket you don't win the raffle I think it's
07:36probably just fading wide and then Garcés sticks the left leg out and into the back
07:44of the net it goes well let's have a look here we go
07:50goal check
07:56tight one
08:03goal stands final decision goal Limitad to Alianza Lima two
08:11score again here so you know when that game finishes Matad have another
08:19opportunity just stay wide of the upright
08:24it was dangerous isn't it looking more dangerous just takes the ball down flips it
08:31away
08:48hey
08:51the corner kick in and Alianza Lima gotta be really careful here because you sense that
08:55chances are coming put it around really neatly
09:03but still that's a new goal
09:12well
09:14I feel like us with the yellow card for better time wasted now
09:19I got the bit between the teeth it's a really clever targets got options left and
09:23right goes for go bring away to his left hand side see that one was staying out
09:26bring away to his left-hand side you know guarantee that one was staying out
09:32resist this could it veteran striker but doesn't get a touch on
09:38it let's rocker Santa Cruz once more have a little turn he's inside the area
09:45to goalkeeper gathers and it's a half-eastern opportunity that
09:52well Alianza Lima I think now could breathe a sigh of relief because they know they've done it
09:58held on for the point they needed
10:01to finish thirds in the group the full-time whistle does go two apiece on the night in Asuncion
10:13and Alianza Lima will finish third in the group and dropped out of the Sudamericana
10:18a really good result for them on the night for Libertad well they came from two down to draw two apiece
