Service issues began shortly after 8:30 a.m. ET was resolved mainly by 10 a.m., though some users faced intermittent problems until about 11 a.m. X experienced its second outage in less than a week, following a previous disruption on Thursday. Musk acknowledged the downtime in a post on X, stating that “major operational improvements need to be made” and noting that the platform’s failover redundancy “did not” function properly.
