00:00My name is Andreas Hasselö. I'm the founder of Ombori, which is a group of technology companies
00:13that all have AI at their forefront. So on one side we cover IT and info security and compliance,
00:20but the area that I spend most of my time in is a company called FiGrid that is building the
00:25infrastructure layer for putting AI into the real world. If we just look at what is happening in the
00:31world right now we're witnessing a massive revolution where there is endless possibilities,
00:37but when we see what is happening in the online world and our digital lives on the phone it's
00:42evolving at such an incredibly rapid pace, but we are not yet seeing that same rapid development
00:48in the physical world that we interact with that we spend our lives in and with FiGrid we are trying
00:55to create the tools and the infrastructure layer to get that same kind of speed to be able to deploy
01:01AI that actually improves people's day-to-day lives in the real world. Our focus is always on executing
01:09and delivering value both for our customers when it comes to create solutions that you know
01:13dramatically reduces cost or increases revenue or just creates a so much more delightful experience
01:20for for their customers. So for us we will just keep executing according to our plan that we have
01:25done for a very long time and I feel that somehow the time has caught up with us and it's a very nice
01:32momentum for us now in this space. Not doing it is not an option. At the same time I think it's very
01:39important that you invest the time in understanding what you're doing. We are also starting to see that
01:43some companies are rapidly deploying new models and they don't really fully understand it and they
01:50have some impact on their business which is a bit unpredictable. So it's extremely important to just
01:56attract the right people and to really follow along because things like the landscape shifts so
02:01incredibly rapidly so you always need to learn new things and you need to have people around you
02:07that can follow along drastic shifts and build things. It will be almost bordering cliches right
02:16but I think there are two things that that really drives this for me. On one hand I'm I'm a geek inside
02:23out I love new technology I love being on the forefront I'm very much even though I'm leading the
02:29company I'm also down in the trenches building things with the team I don't think I'm ever going to
02:33stop doing that. But in the end the ultimate motivation is to build things that actually improve
02:39people's lives. People think that life changed when the iPhone became popular. People think that life
02:45changed during COVID. It's going to change much more with AI.
