The UNโ€™s Palestine Refugees Agency (UNRWA) says it is "at a loss for words" as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens beyond comprehension. People are being forced to search for nonexistent safety, with nowhere left to run amid relentless bombardment.

At least 36 people have been killed in the latest IDF airstrike on a school that had been turned into a civilian shelter ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ’ฅ. Meanwhile, the Baptist Hospital in Gaza is one of many medical centers on the brink of shutting down, battered by continued Israeli shelling.

The UN warns that Gazaโ€™s entire healthcare system is collapsing, unable to withstand the daily attacks, supply shortages, and infrastructure destruction. Thousands of injured civilians are left with no access to life-saving treatment ๐Ÿฅ.

The world watches in silence as the humanitarian catastrophe worsens, with calls for an immediate ceasefire growing louder across the globe ๐ŸŒโœŠ.

00:00And to the Middle East now, Unrua says it is, quote, at a loss for words due to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
00:09The UN Refugees Agency says the people in Gaza are being forced to look for shelter and safety that, quote, doesn't exist.
00:18The comments come as at least 36 Palestinians are reported to have been killed on Monday after an IDF attack on a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City.
00:28Now, according to local media, at least three bombs dropped by Israeli warplanes left, you know, hit classrooms where mostly women and children were seeking refuge.
00:41Other charred bodies of youngsters were removed from the rubble, while a number of others still remained trapped.
00:48Here is a tragic story of one family which lost all children except one little girl on that fateful night.
00:58The bomb. The bomb. I don't know what happened. I just heard the sound of a bomb exploding on the ground.
01:21That's all I heard. I saw the fire.
01:24My feelings are completely shattered.
01:43My brother's children were burned up in front of me.
01:46Our children are dead.
01:49One girl survived out of the whole family.
01:51What am I supposed to feel?
01:54What is she supposed to feel?
01:56My message to the world.
01:59End the war.
02:00Stop the bloodshed.
02:02The fire inside the school was blazing, an unimaginable inferno.
02:21I watched how people were inside the flames, screaming and shouting.
02:25The fire was raging.
02:27What could you even do?
02:28Nothing.
02:29I was stunned, just staring.
02:31People were alive, burning alive.
02:34It was a catastrophe.
02:35They were completely charred, no sign of life.
02:38You couldn't tell who was who.
02:40We came and started clearing the rubble.
02:42We dug through it.
02:44With all that fire, I never expected anyone to be alive in there.
02:48It was a miracle that I pulled the girl out.
02:50You can see how much rubble there was, all blocking that pillar.
02:54We dug with our hands, with pieces of wood inside a burning area.
02:58It took about 15 minutes, but we pulled the girl out.
03:02Her head was covered in sand, stones and gravel.
03:05She had been buried face down.
03:07Thank God she's now alive, brought back to life.
03:10Is there a feeling worse than this?
03:35Is there a scene more horrific than this one?
03:38This child coming out, burning from the fire.
03:41We want peace.
03:43We want to live like you live.
03:46Enough.
03:47How much longer?
03:49Take this scene.
03:50Imagine it with your children.
03:52Let the Israeli picture this scene.
03:55Would they accept this for their own children?
03:58No one in the world could bear this.
04:00Let the people of Gaza live a dignified life, if only they could, even once in their life.
04:06But it's not happening.
04:07As Israel intensifies its hostilities,
04:35the United Nations has warned that the enclave's already crippled healthcare system is in its final death throes.
04:43Almost all medical facilities have been critically damaged,
04:47with most having now run out of supplies.
04:50Established in 19th century, the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City is facing shutdown amid the constant IDF bombardment.
04:59A local civil defence worker spelt out just how dire the situation there is.
05:05The scene at Al-Ali Baptist Hospital is truly difficult,
05:14given the overcrowding of patients in the hospital corridors
05:16and the ongoing bombardment in the Gaza Strip, which has not stopped.
05:21The Israeli occupation continues.
05:24Therefore, the services that Al-Ali Baptist Hospital can provide are inadequate under the bombardment.
05:30The current situation in the hospital cannot bear any more due to ongoing shelling and Israeli airstrikes,
05:37the inability to treat all cases,
05:40and the lack of supplies needed by hospital management,
05:42or even the medical staff to respond to the situation.
05:46Patients are lining up, waiting for doctors,
05:49waiting their turn to enter surgery,
05:51waiting their turn for nurses to provide treatment or any medical service.
05:55The occupation through its policies on the ground
06:03and the methodology used by Israeli forces,
06:06we are observing and responding to what's happening.
06:09And it's clear the focus is on wiping out the service infrastructure
06:12and, in general, Gaza's ability to function.
06:15That's why they shut down Kamal Adwan Hospital,
06:19Al-Auda Hospital,
06:20and the Indonesian hospital.
06:22Now, the pressure is on Al-Ali Hospital and Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
06:27We're seeing massive overcrowding
06:29and enormous pressure on the medical system in Gaza
06:32as bombardment continues without pause.
06:35Is it logical, reasonable, or humane to destroy an entire hospital
06:39just because, according to Israeli claims, that person passed through it?
06:43That's completely absurd.
06:44And the issue isn't just hospitals.
06:54The occupation killed 114 civil defense members.
06:58It killed 15 members of the Red Crescent and civil defense in Rafah.
07:03It destroyed Gaza's entire service system,
07:05including civil defense headquarters.
07:08These are not just service organizations.
07:11They're essential humanitarian providers.
07:13Civil defense workers are just like doctors.
07:17They offer a human service.
07:18But now there's a clear methodology, a defined policy,
07:22being implemented to wipe out the service system in Gaza entirely.
07:26This question, honestly, is a very shameful one.
07:35We keep hearing that Spain is threatening, Canada is threatening,
07:38Britain is threatening, America is threatening.
07:41Everyone is saying the war must stop, it must end.
07:43But Israel keeps going down this path.
07:46In my opinion, Israel knows very well who it is dealing with.
07:49It knows very well that all this talk and all these threats are just media statements, nothing more.
07:55And of course, we haven't just started being slaughtered today.
07:59We have been slaughtered since October 7th.
08:02The occupation has been killing our children, bombing our homes, committing massacres and collapsing houses on top of civilians.
08:09Today we're talking about 54,000 martyrs who have reached Gaza's hospitals and the world still hasn't moved.
08:16If we're talking about not targeting civilians, what about the 18 children and six women?
08:27Are they not civilians?
08:29What about the men who were killed?
08:30Are they not civilians?
08:32Bombing a school, is that not a civilian location?
08:35A place with unarmed civilians inside?
08:38Bombing tents that shelter innocent people?
08:41Aren't those civilian targets?
08:42In reality, everything in Gaza being hit now is civilian.
08:47If we assume 150 martyrs fall every day in Gaza, how many of those does Israel consider wanted?
08:54So all this talk that airstrikes in Gaza don't target civilians is completely false.
09:00Claims that the strikes are precise and targeted terrorists are false.
09:05Meanwhile, Orthodox Israelis have taken to the streets to mark Jerusalem Day,
09:10commemorating their re-establishment of control over the city after the War of 1967.
09:25The event was marred by hate speech and violence as thousands joined the so-called Flag March in the Old City.
09:33Orthodox Israelis shouted slogans while marching through Muslim neighborhoods with protesters reportedly storming the compound of the UN-Palestine Refugees Agency.
09:45The Knesset member from the Hadash party, Orfar Kassif, says that the language of genocide has been on the rise in Israel in recent years.
09:53From the very first time that this terrible fascist march occurred, it was not only accompanied, but led by hate speech, because this is a march of hate.
10:09The march is intended to express who is, as it were, the master race and who is the inferior.
10:19Add to that what has been going on in the last few years, and especially in the last 20 months,
10:26in which the language of genocide, extermination of the Palestinian people is on the rise.
10:33And then you get everything that occurred today, the violence.
10:37So what would you expect?
10:39If that's the hegemonic discourse, that's what we get.
10:43It's not something that occurred, you know, sporadically.
10:47It's not only gangs or thugs of bigots and fanatics, although they, of course, on the ground do all those atrocities and crimes and violence.
10:57But it is led and supported by the government.
11:01It comes from above.
11:03So obviously, nobody wants to do anything to halt it, to stop it, and to arrest those bigots afterwards.
11:11The U.S. ambassador's latest statement about whether Palestine should even exist has stirred up an angry response.
11:19I want to play a clip for our viewers to remind them, and I'll ask for your comment afterwards.
11:23Let's listen.
11:24But where do the Palestinians fit into this picture?
11:26Do they have a state?
11:28That's a great question that both Palestinians and Israelis need to work out.
11:33It's not something I can figure out.
11:35And let's face it.
11:37Many Palestinians are happy, and have been happy, to live in Israel.
11:42They have better jobs in Israel.
11:45They're Palestinians, yet they live freely.
11:48The bigger question is, if there's a desire for a particular state,
11:52does it have to exist within the current geographical boundaries of Israel?
11:57Do you mean the possibility of a one-state solution?
12:00I'm asking whether there truly needs to be a separate state.
12:03Muslim countries collectively have 644 times the landmass that Israel has.
12:09With that in mind, what consequences would you expect to see if Israel does indeed follow through with this one-state solution?
12:17First of all, I heard this nonsense, you know, and the words of bigotry and ignorance.
12:25Because there is a Palestinian state, there is a Palestinian homeland,
12:32the Palestinian people is entitled to enjoy its own self-determination in the form of a state in its own homeland,
12:41not in another place.
12:43In my view, in our view, the only solution, the only viable and reasonable solution under the circumstances is the two-state solution.
12:54And if we do not move towards the two-state solution,
12:58everybody is going to pay even a higher price than they already paid,
13:03especially by the Palestinian people, but also by the Israeli people.
13:08The only way to stop those are, first and foremost, to stop immediately,
13:13to end totally the attacks, the genocide in Gaza.
13:18Israel must withdraw from Gaza altogether, and the hostages should be released, totally, all of them.
13:27And then we must move forward towards the two-state solution.
13:32Otherwise, it's going to erupt again with even a higher price.
13:36And I urge everybody, including our viewers in your country and otherwise,
13:41please assist us in reaching this solution.
13:45That's the only way to save the lives of Palestinians and Israelis alike and beyond.
13:51You mentioned the hostages.
13:53Israel's earlier objectives had been the return of the hostages as well as dissolving Hamas.
13:59Netanyahu now, though, says all of Gaza will be overtaken by Israel.
14:05Are you surprised by that reset and his priorities, and how popular is this with the Israeli public?
14:13I'm not surprised because I said on 8th of October, 2023, even before the massive attack on Gaza began,
14:22I said that the government of Israel is not interested in the security of Israel and the Israelis,
14:29is not interested in releasing the then 250 Israeli hostages.
14:33The real issue, including what you just mentioned, the attempt of Netanyahu and his bigots in the government
14:40and the coalition to occupy the whole Gaza Strip, is part of the realization of the genocidal decisive plan.
14:50It has nothing to do with security, let alone releasing the hostages.
14:54We have to fight to stop it for the benefit of all peoples in the region, especially the Israelis and the Palestinians.
15:01We must stop it.
15:03There was a genocide going on there, starvation.
15:06You know, the family of my grandparents went through the Holocaust.
15:12And the family of my grandparents, both my grandparents on my mother's side, nobody, nobody at all,
15:18even not one soul, apart from my grandparents themselves, survived the Holocaust.
15:23And I'm so ashamed and painful to see that my people in my state resemble the situation that what was going on in the during the 30s and even the beginning of the 40s in Europe.
15:37That's terrible.
15:39And still, it seems that the world hasn't learned anything.
15:43It was a silent then.
15:45And it is silent now.
15:47Stop it.
15:47That's terrible.
15:48I'm sorry.
15:53That's terrible.
