00:00Assessing what it looked like in the fields, please.
00:04I thought it was pretty professional.
00:06Made limited errors, played good field position.
00:10We talked about just making sure we get to the end of the tackle count.
00:14I wasn't too familiar with the short field,
00:17but we just focused on getting to the end of the tackle count
00:20and that's where all our points would come on the end of the tackle count.
00:25We put a bit of work into them earlier.
00:27I thought they were broke. They really had a crack in the first half.
00:31We just think weight of possession and the amount of work they had to do took its toll on them.
00:36But that's a credit to our guys on being patient and being professional to play like that.
00:42That word patience, we've mentioned it at times already in the season,
00:45how you seem to grind particularly in that first half hour.
00:48We're getting better.
00:50They need to understand that we don't need to be winning on the scoreboard
00:53ten minutes into the game, it doesn't matter.
00:55We need to build our games and then we come back out in the second half
00:59and try and build again.
01:00We had a missed tackle which they scored a length of field trial
01:04which we're not happy about.
01:05But overall we had a couple of red zone penalties in the first half
01:09to let them out of their half which we talked about and adjusted
01:13and got that right in the second half.
01:15They didn't roll over and just gift us the game, we had to work hard for it.
01:21How frustrating was the start of that second half and that try again?
01:26It's frustrating but everyone's chasing that perfect eight minutes and you're never going to get it.
01:31So that's what it is. Our response was good, we just had to start again.
01:34It was a one off. Usually Crofty's a very good defender.
01:38If you got it wrong, he'll learn from it.
01:41I've got to ask you about Sam Sonny.
01:43That's some impact in his two cents today.
01:46Yeah, really good. I think the last month his football has been pretty good coming on.
01:52We've probably played better to the conditions for Sam today.
01:55You know, look, there's no point in bringing him on
01:57and like we did last week to start the second half
01:59and with our first three sets we made errors
02:01and we spent the first eight minutes defending our trial line last week.
02:05You know, that's not what we need Sam doing.
02:07You know, he's doing a good job defensively when he's there with his effort areas
02:10but he's obviously got a very damaging carry so we need to get the ball in our hands.
