A driver who crashed a car into a wall before fleeing the scene leaving three people seriously injured has been jailed for 30 months.
Dylan Crocker was driving the Ford Fiesta on April 21, 2024 when he crashed into a wall on Coal Lane in Wolviston, near Billingham.
There were five other people in the car - including one who had been in the boot - who he left at the scene, with three of them seriously injured.
Crocker, 20, was found hiding nearby by police after members of the public who had stopped at the scene to give first aid to the injured passengers told police which direction he had ran off.
