Another Pakistani spy ring busted: Delhi scrap dealer Mohammad Harun, Tufail in Varanasi arrested, families react

New Delhi, May 23, 2025 (ANI): Two men, a resident of Delhi’s Seelampur, Mohammad Harun and a resident of Varanasi, Tufail, have been arrested on espionage charges by Uttar Pradesh ATS. According to UP ATS, Mohammad Harun was in touch with Pakistan High Commission staffer who has been declared persona non-grata. Harun is accused of anti-national activities, sharing information and helping Pakistani official in cash transactions through banks. Tufail, who hails from Varanasi, has been accused of sharing pictures he clicked of famous monuments of Delhi and Varanasi with a Pakistani contact. Tufail was also allegedly in touch with a Pakistani woman who is married to military personnel.
