Woman fined for riding motorbike with dog in Temu harness

A woman on the Sunshine Coast has been fined after Highway Patrol spotted her riding with her dog strapped to her front on May 17, 2025.  Footage courtesy: Queensland Police

00:00It just gets you to pull over when you can safely.

00:10You know you can't do the hips.

00:15Yeah, so you can't go over the dog on the bike.

00:21I must say it's the first time I've seen it.

00:31I've never seen it with the whole harnessing thing before.

00:34But yeah, unfortunately you can't be riding around with the dog in between your arms like that.

00:41I know your dog's probably training around everybody.

00:46So if you start moving around, the site's going off, trying to chase up a lot on the road.

00:50Anything could happen then that's obviously going to cause you to crash.
