Manga artist’s prediction sparks travel concerns
Japanese manga artist Ryo Tatsuki has raised alarm with a prediction of a large-scale disaster expected in July 2025. Travel agencies have reported a fall in tourist interest following the forecast. Some agencies noted cancellations reaching up to 50% during the recent Easter holidays.
Tatsuki, referred to by some as Japan’s “New Baba Vanga,” had earlier predicted events like the March 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, the 1995 Kobe earthquake, and the death of singer Freddie Mercury. She first published her predictions in 1999 in a book titled The Future I Saw.Spooky-BigBang
