We’re back with another episode of All Wednesday, and we have Alex Miller with us once more as we discuss the Sheffield Wednesday retained list - and whether the right choices were made.

00:00re-jigging the squad you know it's the same argument when you've got someone like michael

00:05smith around there's a certain style of play there and i wrote it in a piece um in response

00:11to the retained list you know what what i think it does show with some of the decisions made

00:16is that there's unlikely to be a sort of root and branch transformation about how wednesday go about

00:24their stuff because you know you'd think you know without without being in in the room and

00:29having access to the balance sheet that those are two reasonably you know well-paid players you know

00:34the stages of the career and what they've both achieved and rightly so um so to certainly retain

00:42one and then and then look to retain the other you know there's not going to be a a complete whirlwind

00:48change in in how things are done um i think with pato um a lot of people forget he's not

00:59in the 32 33 34 club yeah yeah because he's got this this beautiful mop of salt and pepper hair
