00:00The steel sector is one of the sectors that particularly benefits from the trade deals that
00:04this government has secured. Freeing ourselves of tariffs on steel going into the US and indeed
00:10the deal that was secured with the EU yesterday means that we avoid tariffs on steel being sold
00:17into European markets as well as now being exempt from the European CBAM scheme. Good for steel,
00:24good for jobs right across Britain. And 70% of the fish that is caught in UK waters is sold into
00:32European markets. That will now benefit from the SPS deal that we have secured in that deal. We've
00:39rolled over the deal that the previous government secured, giving certainty to fishermen in Scotland
00:44and across the UK, made it easier for them to export into their European markets. We've ensured
00:51that we can now sell shellfish again into European markets and we announced a £360 million package
00:59of measures to support coastal and fishing industries yesterday. But what this deal will ensure is
01:04a bigger market which on average brings prices down. We're confident that the deal secured
01:10yesterday will bring more good jobs and will bring down bills for consumers.
01:15of uncertainty.
