00:00my name is Alan Lopez and I'm in the construction program um I had first I had told my PO I was on

00:12probation before I got into this program and my friend he was he got enrolled by his probation

00:17officer in this program so I had told my probation officer there was any way if I could get enrolled

00:22I feel like it's showing me skills it's showing me um giving me knowledge on what to do especially

00:29after high school I feel like when you get into trades and stuff don't really know how to start

00:34get into a union and stuff like that like this program of I hope you get at least like that base

00:38knowledge that you need to get in your like up and running and get your feet moving I feel I feel

00:44that um this program has showed me more about myself in the way of like things that I like to do my

00:50capacities my limits I feel like it also shows me I learned new things measurements how cement works

00:56how certain materials work and I feel like it's just good to have that certain common knowledge
