00:00I mean, I don't know what other setting I'd be able to, I'd have a drone flying around this boat

00:04with me on one knee, you know, as the sun's setting in Hawaii. There's this, the way it all

00:09came together, there's no better way to capture a moment like that.

00:16I know you were like thrown into things last season, into this reality TV landscape. What's

00:20season two been like for you? The biggest difference for me is I have real relationships

00:24established with pretty much everyone in the group now. So before I'm meeting people on

00:29adjusting to this Holly weird business, I don't understand. Now I kind of have an understanding

00:35of what's going on and I care about these people more than I did. So it's been, you know, a lot

00:41different. So I think with the first season, the first summer, I was just nervous, didn't know

00:46much at all what I was getting into, how it was. This is not the kind of TV that I would watch.

00:52When I watch TV, I'm watching sports, you know, that's kind of the kind of guy I am. And this year

00:57having, yeah, a season under my belt, I knew what to expect and went into it with the mindset,

01:03I'm going to have fun. Yeah. Like no one's going to stop me from having fun in one way or another.

01:08And it went well. I had fun. I had a blast. I honestly don't know if anyone had more fun than

01:12I did last summer. I feel like in these first two episodes alone, a lot's happening and there's

01:17two huge divorces happening, right? Within this friend group. What is that like? Again, I know this is

01:23real life for you guys. Like, yes, there are cameras around and it's entertainment for us,

01:27but how has that just been navigating in this group, these two huge life events happening?

01:32Well, three. Kristen and I. Hello.

01:34Aged. Come on in. We're having fun for kids. The most positive one. Exactly. Let's focus on that.

01:39Yes. Okay. Oh, it's bearing the lead here. They can have all the dark drama they want.

01:42Yeah. I don't know. I love having the big things going on in my life with Kristen because it makes

01:48it easier to block that out. There's so much dark, just negative space. There's so much hate between

01:54these couples as they split. And, you know, I don't know, find a way to have fun and focus on

02:01the positive things. We've, of course, known Kristen for years and now we've gotten to know

02:04you. And it is exciting for these like moments to happen as you start a family, as you get engaged

02:09in all these things. I know that it's already in the trailer, the proposal, which you're so excited

02:12to see. But talk to me a little bit about that too. Like what, where your mind was at before that.

02:17Oh man. You know, it was a lot of nerves, you know, going into it and doing it, making it

02:24a surprise is not easy. Not easy to pull that off with Kristen. I'm, I'm actually also anxious

02:29to see, um, I don't remember all the things I alluded to. Like, I feel like I almost blew

02:34it a number of times and somehow she didn't pick up on, you know, the clues. So it ends up

02:40being a genuine surprise. And I just feel light as a feather after, after it happens.

02:47Oh my God. I can't wait to watch it. Cause already just the sneak preview that they gave

02:50of us looks so cute. And I think that with, I say this after like with all you Bravo people

02:54that it must be nice to, you kind of have like a scrapbook of it. Like you're always

02:57going to have that shot really well. It's not an iPhone camera that got that. You know

03:02what I mean? It's going to be something that you're going to have to look back on forever.

03:05I mean, I don't know what other setting I'd be able to, I'd have a drone flying around

03:09this boat with me on one knee, you know, as the sun setting in Hawaii, there's this,

03:14uh, the way it all came together. There's no better way to capture a moment like that.

03:18Let's talk Kristin. I know that at the start of the season, it seems like kind of tough,

03:22especially with her and Janet for sure. How have you been able to maybe support her through

03:27that and all that? And do you think that, um, overall, how did the season go for her?

03:32I think overall the season went great for her. I mean, if anything, I am more the person in her

03:38ear that we don't need more friends. We need less friends. As we move forward, as we bring more

03:42people into the world, we need to have a tight group that we can really count on. And when people

03:46show that we can't count on them or they're bringing in negativity, you know, just things we

03:52don't want in our lives, we can cut them out. And it's not, not necessarily be out of hatred.

03:59It's out of self-preservation. You know, we want to keep our peaceful bubble together.

04:03Yeah. And what are some things too, do you think relationship wise, um, that have maybe

04:08shifted in this time? I know that like pregnancy brings so much relationships, but like, what

04:11are some things that maybe you guys have learned about each other or maybe some things that you

04:15didn't expect in terms of this, you know, nine month journey?

04:18So Kristin's very independent person. And I think this pregnancy has, um, I guess led to her leaning

04:27on me more, which is something I've actually been trying to get her to do. And now it's

04:32like with her leaning on me comes with the no appreciation of the calm I bring to the relationship.

04:38And yeah, you know, I don't know if we've ever been in a better place in our relationship

04:42than we are now. So it's all been very positive.

04:44And how has it been to navigating again? It is tough when you're in a friend group. How

04:49has it been for you and Kristin to navigate that as well? Because there are again, a lot of

04:52changes happening in the personal lives of this group. Yeah. You can't be there for

04:56everybody. I'll say that. Like you just can't. So you have to take, you know, it's kind of

05:00where friendships grow stronger or weaker because when there are two sides and it's so polarized,

05:06you kind of have to pick one. You have to pick your team and have their back, I guess, unless

05:11they throw you under the bus, then you can jump ship and switch teams. But that's how it goes.

05:16We have some of our Vanderpump Rules alum, like we have like Sheena, Lala, Tom, Brock joining

05:20in. How is that as well? I know, again, it's kind of nice. Sometimes I feel like when I

05:24talk to people, they already have, you know, their ideas of these people. But again, you're

05:28a bit newer to this experience and are getting to meet them or experience them like this for

05:32the first time. Yeah, I'll say, you know, Tom Schwartz, he's the guy from Vanderpump that

05:37I see the most and the person I connect the most with. I love Tom. And I thought that has felt very

05:43natural. There were some others that didn't feel as natural with for Kristin and me. But, you know,

05:48ultimately, they are around, they're adjacent, you know, friends of. So it's, I don't know,

05:55I don't really how to how to put it as far as the Vanderpump people kind of working back into it.

06:02Yeah. And again, as we said, you guys have your own stuff going on. Like there's plenty,

06:06there's plenty happening. And yeah, let's talk about this baby shower. Also, I mean,

06:10once the pictures dropped, I feel like it felt like it broke the internet, at least in the Bravo

06:13universe. It looked like such a great event. And talk to me about that to kind of being able to

06:17celebrate in this way. I mean, you mentioned that that Brittany threw it. So talk to me a little

06:20bit about that experience. Okay, so Brittany is the queen of parties, like she could run a business

06:25and make million dollars as a party consultant, because she knows the people to call, she knows

06:30how to pull a party together with a theme and with every detail, you know, checked off the list. So

06:37she put together this party that Kristin kind of gave her some input to, I didn't have that much input

06:43in it. I was more just the errand boy, you know, get this, get that, bring it over there, go get

06:48the ice. But it was just, it was incredible to have so many people there. And it also be just such

06:54a chill, happy party. There was, there was actually no drama. Yeah, drama, no one drunk. It was great.

07:01And then I know too, it seemed like most of you guys were there, but it didn't seem like maybe Janet

07:05or Michelle were there. I know you probably can't say too much about where the season goes, but do you

07:10feel like that maybe hints towards maybe where Kristin is at with them right now, where you guys are?

07:15I mean, hints are, you know, spells it out. Yeah, that's about as far as I'm going to go with that.
