00:00Hi guys, I'm Lauren Gray and today I'm going to be taking you through my skincare routine
00:14because it took a while to get here.
00:27We always start with cleansing.
00:30I really love this one because I have very sensitive skin and normally I would wash my whole face
00:37but today I'm leaving my eyebrows and my eyelashes on.
00:41I shaved half my eyebrows off so I'm a little insecure right now.
00:46This is the La Roche-Posay for normal to dry skin hydrating gel cleanser.
00:54I'm going to wash my face and it's really important to cleanse to get all the oil and dirt from the tag off your face.
01:09I'm going to be careful not to wipe my eyebrows off.
01:16If I had a full face of makeup on I would start with a cleansing balm but this is my morning routine.
01:31Always remember the creases of the nose right here, very important because I always forget that.
01:47I'm going to wash my eyebrows off.
01:48I'm going to wash my eyebrows off.
01:49I'm going to put my eyebrows on out.
02:01I'm just going to wash my eyebrows off.
02:03I'm just going to wet the washcloth so that I can wipe off my face.
02:09This is what I would do at home.
02:25And I'm just going to very gently wipe that off.
02:28Be gentle to your skin.
02:29Your skin is the largest organ in your body, so you have to take care of it.
02:44My face also gets really red when I touch it at all, so bear with me.
02:54Avoiding the eyebrow.
03:00Moving on.
03:01Okay, so we're moving on to toner.
03:04I use these toner pads.
03:07I don't use them every day because they dry out my skin a little bit.
03:11But they're good for like a deep cleanse every once in a while.
03:14That took a long time to unscrew.
03:27We'll use this side.
03:28Okay.
03:28Okay, I think that's good.
03:58See, it gets off all the extra makeup that was left over on the skin.
04:04And then it says...
04:05That's to like, pat it into your skin.
04:15And that's it for our toner pads.
04:22Okay, it's closed now.
04:23Next up is a really fun one.
04:26And I don't use it all the time, but I thought it would be fun for this video.
04:30It's a bubble serum.
04:32This is by Metacube.
04:34I actually really love their products.
04:35It looks like this.
04:37And it foams up really cool.
04:39And this part is really fun.
04:49That's so fun.
04:50I like that.
05:13And then...
05:15I usually don't use this much.
05:29It's getting in my hair.
05:31I'm actually not 1000% sure what it does.
05:43But it does make me very glowy.
05:45And I like that.
05:46And it doesn't irritate my skin.
05:47Which is very nice.
05:48When you're finding products for your skin, make sure you're always listening to your skin.
05:56Because what works for someone might not work for you.
06:00But this works for my skin.
06:02And it feels really nice.
06:03And it smells good.
06:05Moving on.
06:06This is the road glazing milk.
06:08This is very hydrating.
06:10And you're supposed to shake it before use.
06:12And then I just kind of rub my hands together.
06:32It doesn't really make that pun of a noise.
06:35But it's okay.
06:36And then...
06:38And then you just kind of press it into the skin.
06:42It feels really good.
06:50I don't know if that did anything.
06:52So next is moisturizer.
06:55And this is one of my favorite moisturizers.
06:58I'm not fully sure how to pronounce it.
07:01I think it's all Henriksen.
07:02But I could be so wrong.
07:05And this is the Strength Drainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer.
07:12My hands are slippery.
07:21Nice.
07:24And you don't need a lot because this is super thick.
07:27A couple years ago, I developed terrible hormonal acne.
07:39And I tried a million products.
07:42And I found out that it was just something that I needed to be medicated for.
07:46But once I started the medication, it dried out my skin so bad.
07:50And this is why I love hydration.
07:54And then you can bring this down to your neck because that's very important.
07:57Okay.
08:09Obviously, you don't need this much moisture every day.
08:13But if my skin is especially dry, I do.
08:16Moving on.
08:17Last, but certainly not least, is our sun protection.
08:21This is by Image.
08:23And it is a protect and refer mist with SPF 40 in it.
08:32Okay, here we go.
08:41Oh boy.
08:42And I'm just kind of spreading it out.
08:50Even though I wouldn't do all of this every day, skin care is a really nice way to take care of yourself.
08:57And to do something for you and to relax.
09:00So, every once in a while, I think it's fun.
09:03I've tried a lot of products over the years.
09:08And it's really important to listen to your skin when a product is not working for you.
09:13Even if it's viral and everyone's using it.
09:16If it doesn't work for you, that's okay.
09:18And another thing I learned is that it's okay to see a dermatologist.
09:22And to get extra help for your skin.
09:25Sometimes, that's what you gotta do.
09:27So, that's what helped me.
09:29Okay, everyone.
09:30That's gonna be it.
09:31Thank you so much for watching.
09:32I just want to reiterate that it's okay to not love your skin every day.
09:36I certainly didn't.
09:38And I certainly don't every day still.
09:40But it is possible.
09:42And it's important to feel comfortable in your skin.
09:44No matter what it looks like.
09:46It's beautiful.
09:47So, thank you for watching.
09:49I love you.
09:50Take care.
