01:56And then we have to talk about it, like, 12 times over.

02:07we just have to keep talking through and watching
02:11and hearing everyone's opinions on.

02:39Carl wanted to break up with Lindsay this entire summer,

02:56and multiple ups and downs and different ruptures
02:58in our relationship, there were serious things,
03:01in my opinion, that were not being addressed.
03:02And I felt like we needed to try and broach that.
03:04And my attempt to broach that is how the relationship ended.
03:08You have to dig deep sometimes when it's not right.
03:11I felt like I had to tell her that it wasn't right.

03:22It was the way he went about it that was on a different level of betrayal
03:28that, like, I just thought our friendship went beyond the show.
03:35When the show trumped, like, our friendship, our relationship, and our partnership,
03:42it made it really easy to shut my emotions off and just say,
03:48I will never give this man any emotion of mine ever again.
03:52With that said, do I think ultimately it was for the best?
03:57Yes, I do.
03:58But it should have never, ever, ever gone down that way.

04:07I mean, he humiliated me.

04:11Like, I've known this man for almost a decade.
04:14And we've been best friends for a very long time.
04:17She thought Carl called up cameras, which is false.
04:21And so I kind of understand where she's coming from.
04:23Carl was trying to bait me. He already knows what he's going to do.
04:27Now he just has to go make me the fall guy so he comes out pristine at the end of the day.

04:34Most of the time I was just confused about what was going on because it made no sense to me.
04:40When I said to Lindsay that I reminded her that they were fighting all summer,
04:44it was my way of being like, listen, it wasn't just the past two weeks.
04:48Like, you guys were in it for a while and maybe that came off the wrong way,
04:52but I meant it from a place of like, this is for the best.
04:55Like, you guys, we're not getting along.
04:57I mean, pretty much everything we filmed together on camera was cringy and very,
05:01very difficult to watch because we were just not there.
05:05It's sad, honestly. The whole thing is just really sad.

05:19He just said a lot of like nasty things, not only in that specific conversation,
05:24which was like on the finale, but also the kitchen conversation before that,
05:29when I was in the pink cover up, the two conversations out by the pool,
05:33all of these conversations and the ones in the bed, like he was slinging mud.
05:37He was saying nasty things to me, being contradictory.
05:41He was telling me how much I need to change.
05:43He was gaslighting the out of me and then wants a hug.
05:48And it's like, ah,
05:53like, let me show you how soft and tender I don't want to be.
05:57I'm going to stand up for Amanda.

06:01She was standing up for Carl because she was hearing his side of the story the whole time
06:04and the other girls were only hearing Lindsay's side.
06:07I had a better understanding of what was going on between them
06:09because I was hearing from both of their perspectives,
06:13which is why before even watching anything back,
06:17I felt like you could not point fingers and that neither one of them were really to blame
06:23for the demise of the relationship.

07:46Circa 2004, I traded a $120 pair of aviators for a mullet at a Halloween party.

11:35It's awful to have a lens into a relationship that breaks apart.
11:38Even though it has been a must-watch season, I wish both Carl and Lindsay the best and to find fulfillment.

11:47I've been on the show since we started season one filming in 2016.

12:07But at the same time, I feel like it was the best decision for the both of us.
