‘Un-democratic,’: Prashant Kishor slams CM Nitish on being denied entry to Kalyan Bigha

Nalanda (Bihar), May 18, 2025 (ANI): On being stopped from visiting Kalyan Bigha - CM Nitish Kumar's home village in Nalanda district, Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor said slammed CM Nitish and asserted that ‘such things’ were not common in Bihar. He further said, “...The administration didn't stop me from visiting any village in the entire stretch of 3 km. The people told me they are not getting benefits and have also complained about the corruption. Now, the administration is telling me that I cannot visit Kalyan Bigha as there are such orders from the top... We are law-abiding people, and we ask them what they will do if I don't follow what you instruct me. They said we don't have any order regarding these; we must ask first... Nitish ji has made good roads here, and it should be done all over Bihar... This is the new tradition that has started in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi was in Bihar two days back - such things were not common in Bihar. I don't think that Nitish Kumar can give such orders, the kind of 'jungle raaj' of officers which are going on in the state...”
