00:00Good morning. I hope you had a lovely weekend. There is a bit of a change in the forecast this
00:05week. We'll see some welcome showers before something a bit more changeable as we head
00:10into next weekend. But through this morning, a bit of a messy picture out there, quite a lot of
00:14cloud. There are some showers across parts of Wales, but they'll generally ease as we go through
00:19the afternoon for a time. But cloudier skies across northern parts of England, Northern Ireland and
00:26southern Scotland. And here, as we go through the afternoon, some showers will bubble up, some of
00:31them on the heavy side, perhaps even with the odd rumble of thunder. Still hold on to some low cloud
00:37across eastern parts of Scotland and northeastern England, but across much of East Anglia and the
00:43southeast, dry with plenty of sunny spells. And here, that's where we'll see the highest temperatures,
00:5021, 22 degrees. So feeling warmer here, but compared towards the west, actually a cooler feeling day to
00:58come. We'll see higher 17 or 18 degrees, but with the cloud and the heavy downpours, it will be just
01:04generally feeling cooler than that of the weekend. So as we go through the rest of Monday evening,
01:11we'll see the swirl of cloud and showers generally easing for most of us. There may just be a few that
01:17still linger, but once that land cools, we'll again see the return of this low cloud feeding in from
01:24the North Sea out towards the west. That's where we hold on to the lengthiest clear skies. Otherwise,
01:30temperatures generally holding up underneath the cloud further towards the east, but out towards the
01:35west, it might just turn a little bit chilly to start Tuesday morning. So a similar picture to recent
01:43days, that low cloud will gradually lift, break and retreat back towards the coastline. Then many of
01:48us actually seeing a good deal of sunshine first thing on Tuesday, but once the sun gets going, we'll
01:54see showers bubbling up and some of these could be on the heavy side, especially across Northern Ireland,
02:00parts of Wales, Northern England and perhaps even towards the south and west. Now, not everywhere
02:05is going to see these showers, so do stay tuned to the forecast. Best of the sunshine across Scotland
02:11and again towards the far south and east. Still chilly along those eastern coasts, but elsewhere,
02:18highs of up to 21 or 22 degrees. Now looking further ahead to the week, we have got further showers in
02:26the south on Wednesday. Again, heavy and possibly thundery. Generally drier for most of us on Thursday,
02:33but a little bit cooler before something more changeable comes in next weekend. But for more details on
02:40all of that, be sure to hit subscribe on YouTube so you don't miss any updates and I'll see you soon. Bye-bye.
