00:00The danger is, for young artists, they haven't got the resources to keep checking or fight big tech

00:05if there is a lawsuit or anything like that.

00:08It's criminal, and I feel incredibly betrayed.

00:11The House of Lords did a vote, and it was more than two to one in our favour.

00:15The government just looked at it as if to say,

00:17well, the old people like me can afford it.

00:21That's not what we're complaining about.

00:23We're complaining about people's legacy,

00:26whether they're young songwriters, whether they're young playwrights, journalists, whatever.

00:32Some people aren't like me. They don't earn as much as I do.

00:35But when they're creative, and it comes from the human soul and not a machine,

00:40because a machine isn't capable of writing anything with any soul in it,

00:44if you've got to get rid of that,

00:46and you've got to rob young people of their legacy and their income,

00:50it's a criminal offence, I think.

00:52I think the government are just being absolute losers.

00:55I'm very angry about it.
